Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 7.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Love this game and it sill runs just ok on my new pc but I can't buy only the dlcs that I'm missing and have to buy the full game again with the dlc I'm missing (GOTY Deluxe I only have the GOTY edition, steam says I don't even get to keep the extra game key if I buy it) so you can take this bad review
Thought process Thought process Here's your full ghoulish rundown for the original Oblivion GOTY Edition — the 2006 classic, not the 2025 remaster you already have a review for: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® Game of the Year Edition — RECOMMENDED This is the original. The real, unremastered, gloriously janky 2006 corpse — and if the shiny Unreal Engine 5 resurrection isn't your poison, the old ghost is still down here in the crypt, cheaper than dirt and running on a toaster. The Game of the Year Edition bundles the base game with both major expansions — Knights of the Nine and the legendary Shivering Isles — which makes it the definitive way to experience Cyrodiil in its raw, ancient form. Let's be clear about what you're walking into: this game is old, and it looks it. The infamous potato-faced NPCs, the wildly swinging AI, the physics objects that rocket across rooms when you breathe near them — it's all here, unfiltered. But that jank is inseparable from the charm. This is the era when Bethesda games felt like unpredictable little sandboxes where anything could break in the funniest possible way, and honestly, that chaos is half the reason people still love it two decades later. Underneath the wrinkles is some of the best content Bethesda ever wrote. The Dark Brotherhood questline remains a masterclass in RPG design. The Thieves Guild and Mages Guild arcs are genuinely great. And Shivering Isles — the Sheogorath expansion — is one of the finest pieces of DLC ever made, a mad, colorful descent into the realm of the Daedric Prince of Madness that's weirder and more inventive than the entire base game. The GOTY Edition handing you all of it is a ridiculous amount of adventure for the price. What'll gnaw at you: beyond the dated visuals, the level-scaling system is notoriously busted — enemies scale with you so aggressively that bandits end up in glass armor, and it can make progression feel weirdly hollow if you don't know how to game it. The UI is clunky, and out of the box it may need a community patch or two to run smoothly on modern hardware. This is a game you meet on 2006's terms, and it does not apologize. The ghoulish truth: if you want the authentic Oblivion — jank, glitches, potato faces and all — this is it, and Shivering Isles alone justifies the download. Grab a community patch, embrace the weirdness, and go get lost in the messy, beautiful original before someone reminds you the pretty remake exists. Some ghosts are better left a little rotten.
What a ride it has been. This game truly touches me every time I come back to it. I’ve grown so attached to the characters, and the music completely pulls me in every time. There’s something about the atmosphere that makes this game feel like a world that’s somehow my own, and it’s hard to explain just how special that feeling is. I tried to finish this one a while back, but ever since Cloud Ruler Temple I ran into a game-breaking bug that left my save permanently broken, with things like falling through the map continuing all the way to the end. After a lot of messing around with the console, I eventually managed to finish it. Despite all that, I’d still take this version, with all its quirks and drama, over the remaster any day. A truly great game that I’ll never forget, and hopefully one I’ll return to someday.
First playthrough review time. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a large open-world role playing game that allows players to explore a detailed and expansive environment. The game offers freedom to choose different paths, including joining various groups, completing optional tasks, or simply exploring the world. With a wide range of locations and quests available, players might spend hundreds of hours discovering new areas and engaging with different parts of the game. The gameplay system is more simplified compared to earlier titles in the series. While the combat and magic systems are less complex, they are easy to understand and effective for a variety of play styles. The skill and level progression systems are designed to be accessible for those who are new to this type of game. Although the graphics may appear outdated by modern standards, the game world remains visually detailed, and the focus on exploration is a major strength. If you get the GOTY Deluxe Edition, it also includes the Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles major expansions, along with several smaller DLCs. I have skipped this game and played Skyrim, so I thought to play the Oblivion remastered version, but as it is graphically very intensive and my current specs struggle to run it, I have completed this game instead. It is the original version, and it was nice to play with fixes and gameplay enhancement mods from the guide below. In conclusion, Oblivion is a very good role-playing game that offers a large amount of content. Its open world structure, combined with a wide variety of quests and areas to explore, ensures that players have many objectives to complete over an extensive period of time. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3097509930
no me alcanzo para el remake :,D
Awesome. This is a fantasy RPG. The graphics are very good. The music is great. The main story is a strong point, but there are plenty of plots to follow. No bugs or crashes. Overall, a gem. Open world, countless quests, tons of weapons and spells to explore, nice mechanics, and a huge map. It’s the kind of game you sink long hours, weeks, even months into, depending on your playing style. Even with a newer version out there, this one still delivers a fully immersive experience without the steep price tag of the remake. Games that demand this level of commitment aren’t easy to tackle in these crazy times, but the payoff is worth it. Among the greatest ever—nuff said.
