For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Somehow, I've not already written a review for FTL? Wow, okay, here goes then. FTL is a timeless masterpiece, and a roguelite so distinct that it has become the foundation of its own subgenre. I spent untold hundreds of hours playing FTL for over a decade to 100% completion (on the iPad version, so my depicted Steam playtime is quite misleading), and to this day it has aged like fine wine. The gameplay systems are a masterclass in being easy to understand, but brutally hard to master. The pixel artstyle is crisp, Ben Prunty's soundtrack is wonderful, and there is a massive amount of replayability unlocking every ship and achievement. In terms of performance and graphical options, FTL is incredibly optimized, if now slightly dated. It is not designed for particularly high resolutions, but what do you expect from a game that's now almost 15 years old. Eventually, you can get into modding as well if you still crave more content. The biggest total conversion mod, Multiverse, might as well be FTL 2 with how absurdly expansive it is. A common complaint about FTL that I have seen over the years is that it feels very RNG dependent, but as you reach higher level play, you begin to see that metagame strategy revolves around skill-based RNG mitigation, through proactive choices in ship-building and decision making. If this is still a dealbreaker for you, Subset Games' other main title, Into the Breach, is the perfect foil to FTL if you prefer strategy designed around absolute certainty instead. Overall, FTL is one of my top 10 favourite games of all time, and a fundamental hallmark game that every strategy/roguelite fan owes it to themselves to play.
stress
Starship deck simulator but its the Kobayashi Maru.
Jumping into a charged ion and burst laser 2 auto-scout in an asteroid field that hacks your weapons in sector 3, barely escaping in your crippled flaming ship with only your pilot left, directly into a solar flare *and* intruders? Yeah, FTL is so damn good.
skill issue or whatever but every run I've lost I've lost because it was impossible to win. two most recent losses were the worst. 1) I had barely made is to the second map and all but 2 locations were a meteor storm from the beginning. there wasn't anything i could do i was just slowly whittled down by the environment until they eventually took out my shields and filled my entire ship with fire. 2) was doing good overall until the very end of the first map where i got a random event where 3 guys invaded my ship. their damage far surpassed what my guys could deal with. it was literally impossible to kill even one of them before they killed every one of my guys. that's how all of my runs have ended, i haven't made is past the second area due to random events i couldn't possibly survive. this game is far too random and way too punishing with its random events to be enjoyable.
Played this game as a kid on my dad's computer for a long time. Deeply comforting and nostalgic game for me. Besides that, it is deceptively difficult. A rogue-like spaceship crew management game where choices actually matter? With a beautiful soundtrack? Even more beautiful art? And infinite replayability and mods??? 10/10 game, easily. Strongly recommend
love the fact that, despite other stations being empty to start, the carnelian starts with someone in the weapons room among many other things
