Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 20 → 7.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Step into the role of Kazuki and Ryogo as tensions rise across volatile military zones. With the fate of the region hanging in the balance, command towering Wanzers and lead your squad through intense, turn-based battles.
FRONT MISSION 3: Remake is a tactical RPG set in a future where nations and corporations compete for dominance in a world shaped by powerful mechs called Wanzers. The game follows two diverging storylines based on an early choice made by the protagonist, Kazuki Takemura. Both narratives focus on a global conspiracy involving secret weapons, corporate greed, and nationalistic agendas.
The game begins with Kazuki and his best friend Ryogo unwittingly becoming embroiled in a military conflict after a routine delivery to a military base. Depending on the player's choice, Kazuki either joins up with his sister Alisa, or with an operative investigating a covert weapon project M.I.D.A.S., Emma Klamsky.
In both routes, themes of loyalty, family, and the ethics of technology are explored as Kazuki and his team fight to uncover the truth and prevent catastrophic consequences.
• Two different engaging storylines – dive into two immersive storylines defined by your choices in the game, each offering unique perspectives and challenges.
• Improved graphics and animations – enjoy remade visuals and smoother animations suited to modern needs.
• Reorchestrated music – immerse yourself in a new approach to a classic soundtrack.
• Wanzers’ camo customization - personalize your Wanzers with new customizable camouflage options for a unique battlefield look.
• New Quick Combat mode – jump straight into the action with the fast-paced battle mode.

I really want there to be a "neutral" option. The problem is, I hate the remake because it was rushed slop, but if no one buys it, front mission might well and truly stay dead in the west. So I'm torn. For beginners to the series that didn't play the original game on the PS1, this is a great game. You'll probably like it if you like combat similar to Final Fantasy Tactics, or Disgaea, with customization of the mech's legs, each arm, backpack, weapons, and core. You have a bit of play with the characters. If I stopped there, it's an objectively good game. However, It's a rushed port of one of my favorite games, lacking a lot of the passion that went into the original. The engine is good enough, and slowdowns are infrequent. But it feels like a lot of AI slop went into the game and the remake's devs either didn't care about the source work, didn't play it, or more likely was only given a few months to remake the game and had to cut corners. The mechs lost their original animations and sounds, and a lot of it feels bad. The models clip weapons, the characters feel a bit too airbrushed, and the mechs themselves just look meh. Combat is screwed up with multiple faints per battle compared to the original, and getting platinum ranks can be a crap shoot as to if you get RNG'd hard with multiple pilots downed rather than if you're crappy at the game as in the original game.

Super altbacken und dialog heavy. Keine Empfehlung.
Please Add the front mission 5 scars of wars here in steam :) love this game tho please
No geral nota 8 e 10.
Runs GREAT on Steam Deck!
I discovered this game during a Steam Free Play weekend. I sat down to play a half an hour over lunch, and realised two and half hours later that I was addicted. Fortunately I was able to pick it up plus FrontMission 2 in a bundle discount at 50% off. While I would be cautious about paying full price for it, the gameplay is REALLY, really good. This was originally a Japanese Playstaton game (and quite a successful franchise), but the graphics have been given a complete overhaul for modern hardware to feature really smooth animation and gameplay. The game is rendering the cutscences 'live', so when you're playing out the turn-based Mech combat you'll actually see the mechs moving and firing like a movie. The turn-based isometric combat system works well, and there are RPG elements and plots and character interactions. Its not just 'here do this mission', and there's an in-game 'forum'/news network system that gradually unfolds the events and you piece together the history. So Western viewers should be advised though that the translation to English is VERY literal, and some concepts won't translate. In the bar you visit after a few missions, one of the characters you can talk to is literally called 'The Tramp' who asks you to buy her dinner. It reflects Japanese values and misogyny, so sensitive and younger players are advised. If you can see past this as poor translation, you'll find a reall fun and engaging game. I had previously played an emulatated version of the original Front Mission 3, but the graphics just don't compare. its a genuine remake of the visual engine, while preserving the awesome gameplay and story.
