Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

A relatively easy city builder to try out. Everything is explained clearly and allows hours of fun on one town/city. There are still a few hiccups though that can make the experience more challenging like after you completed a fortification around your city, when you place a gate before it is completely finished or change the wall from one type of light fortification to another, it will remove the buff on your housing and therefore push you back to square 1. Same thing with "Connected buildings" they snap together well, but sometimes they snap on one side and not on another, even if they look connected, they aren't and can cause while adding another building on the other side that the builders cannot reach the other side and if you are building against the sea without other access it can also get your builder stuck and halt the whole progression of the building. Except for those hiccups, there is a wide range of activities and modes to explore, as a burgmester, an abbot or a lord. Or all three at the same time, all of them give interesting challenges with great rewards that will help the players further along. A solid 7/10 for me.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wont say that this game has something unique that other similar games don't. I will say that in my opinion, after playing quite a few of them, this does it best. The atmosphere, the music, the loop, it is all fantastic. If you enjoy kingdoms sims, and are willing to put the time in, this is the game for you. Easy to pick up, hard to put down. Enjoy!
A medieval city builder that has a great balance of difficulty, aesthetics, and mechanics. I'm sure it probably helps that I got the game after the full release, but boy is it lovely. - The challenging loop of needing population to fill jobs and needing to fill jobs to feed the population is very engaging, at least it is < 500 pop, which is as far as I have gotten so far. - Organic path-finding and having a ton of agency re: building and decoration is fantastic. It's not all for looks either, the game mechanic encourages decorating; the nudge is highly appreciated. - Good balance of macro and micro gameplay. It hasn't felt like I've been stuck needing to micromanage too much, nor miss out on macro problem solving. Good stuff.
It is a very fun sim having a blast. MIG
Love this game. It's great! Creativity is definitely there~ Been avid fan since the beginning when i still pirate this game since i dont have money to buy before XD. Please continue to add more features like military expansion (horse, cavalry), conquering new lands (enable to get to a new map after a battle or war?), royalty system (where is the king? is there a chance we can glimpse to see a capital city or something?) I don't mind buying dlc for those
Best city builder out there imo, perfect amount of difficulty. The city being formed by the citizens is so fun to see and the different paths you can follow is deep but easy to understand.
I really like this game, however for some reason it's crash quiet often. Usually don't have any problem in the first few hours, but after the first crash it's doing after in every 5 mins. Don't know what cause this problem, I don't have any issue with other games. But in general this is a lovely game, it's chill, you cant mess up so perfect for relax. Also the devs are really friendly and they're care about the community.
I'm very enjoy to play this game.
아기자기한 그래픽으로 도시 빌더에 이것저것 꾸미는 재미가 있음. 주민들 뽈뽈대고 돌아다니는거 보는것도 잼남.
