Foundation is a grid-less, laidback medieval city-building game with a focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I like this game. While there is certainly room for improvement, especially with some of the mechanics.... It is a cozy, immersive and challenging game with a lot of options. I love the decorations, and endless options to be creative with your colony. I can see myself playing this game for a long time!
Great game and concept nice it building roads automictically
Zdecydowanie polecam.
Very very nice Medieval City Builder. There is too much positive stuff to point out, so here’s a short list of features missing in the game: - better pathing of villagers, they sometimes choose a path through corners of houses etc. - bigger Storages (250+ stacks) - when building (especially Cosmetics), keep the menu open. In case of building two different Cosmetics, very far down the list, the building menu closes once selecting and I have to scroll down again to find what I need. Some of these mentions are fixable with mods, but I’d love to find that in the vanilla experience :) Thx for the great game, I’d love to buy a DLC with lots of new and exciting mechanics 😍
Alright, so first off, it IS very good in many many ways. City builder goodness without ever going into Traffic Simulation. I happily played up two cities to 1000+ folks, got a lot of big things done. That said, I *really* felt like the development team never modelled the economy or balanced production buildings/farms. This is noticeable because the main two themes of mods are "build cooler stuff" (awesome) and "fixes this subsystem's balance". For example, it takes 6 staff to make a meager amount of cheese (you ... know that's mostly aging time, right?) in the building, but the brewer can only have 1 person working away on beer making. Citizens eventually get enough "needs" that I literally had one person who could not satisfy their needs in their neighborhood markets in their off-hours, perpetually sad. And not being able to assign people to homes, just "hoping" the engine will get it right, limits making good neighborhood designs. Trade route values are completely bonkers, sorry to say. I'm optimistic the DLC and upcoming QOL changes to match will help with these things, but it does *eventually* make the balance of fun to frustrating tip too much too the latter. But, note that it definitely stays a lot of fun until then. I still would recommend this, even with my "these could be better" issues above.
This game is far too difficult, unenjoyable, and lacking in creativity. It has too many complicated systems, and the UI is so difficult and unfriendly to use that it prevents the game from being enjoyable. At first, I thought it would be similar to Fabledom, which is a game I absolutely love and can play for hours without stopping. However, after playing it, I found the game much more complicated and difficult to understand than I expected. On top of that, the gameplay is not fun, the graphics are unimpressive, and the overall experience lacks creativity and charm. Overall, I am extremely disappointed. It was a bad experience, and I honestly regret buying it. The developers should learn from other games and improve the UI so that it is more intuitive, accessible, and welcoming to players.
