Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

The game definitely has some flaws but it is fun to play, id recommend giving it a chance

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The best part of this game is the excellent combat. Fast paced, switching jobs on the fly, keeping your eye on your health and enemy stagger. The story is the weakness part. Convoluted, confusing and dull. Graphics hold up well for a game from 2010.
Even though my playtime is only under 40 hours, I've spent more time with FFXIII than I probably would've liked. I initially picked it up on Steam, but then refunded and switched over to the Xbox version. Found the late game too tedious and then picked it back up again on Steam just for easy mode to beat the story. So now here I am having finally seen the credits role after dumping 70+ hours on this game across multiple platforms. Was it worth it? Yes. FFXIII is the latest game I've beaten in my Final Fantasy bender that started back in December 2025 when I finally beat FFXVI. Since I've done OG VII, VIII, X, and Rebirth. XIII has now joined the tally. What I find interesting about FFXIII is I feel that it is the most unconventional FF game I've played. It is among the last I guess mainline games to have active turn based combat though done differently. You only control one member of the party, everyone else free flows. There's also more of a role system where you can setup your party to handle different things. You can go all out attack, a mix of offense/defense, support/attack, healing/support, etc... How you setup your paradigms, which is what the system is called in game, can be very critical especially late in the game as it gets harder. That being said I played on easy mode and the game was generally a breeze. So if you want to just experience the story, you have that. Another aspect of the game that feels unconventional for the franchise is this game is very linear. There is only one section where the game "opens up" in chapter 11 and that can be returned to in 13, but you can only explore this area and the areas that branch out from it. While this isn't the first FF game to be linear, FFX for example was very linear, this game's approach to its more opened up section is different. No airship, no going back to earlier areas, etc... While this may not be for everyone, I genuinely enjoyed this game being more linear. For a game that came out in 2009, that aspect 100% makes it a game for its time as more linear games were big back then. Now for the story, I liked it. Though I did find the lore about Pulse, Cocoon, the L'cie, Falcie, etc... kind of confusing at times. So I recommend reading the in game codex if confused. Outside of that the narrative is fine. I found the characters enjoyable and the voice acting good. The cast itself is pretty strong too with top billing going to Ali Hillis (voice of Liara in Mass Effect and Troy Baker before what I'd say is his breakout role in the Last of Us. Pretty cool! The game also has nice themes of overcoming differences, dealing with grief, being able to achieve anything with the power of friendship, and so on. It is Final Fantasy after all, these games always deliver for me when it comes to themes and philosophical beats. Anyway that is my thoughts on FFXIII. I really enjoyed it. Not the best game in the franchise I've played and I will now move on to FFXIII-2 and plan to beat the whole trilogy so am curious to see how the story shakes out overall. Worth checking out.
No he podido jugarlo, ya que no eh podido abrirlo. Por lo que eh tenido que pedir el rembolso. Igualmente. En PS3 está muy bien.
I played this game some 15 years ago. It left a very deep and lasting impression on me. The sounds, the music, the characters--- to see this game get an accessible port to the PC has been stunning to say the least. Some of this excitement is no doubt nostalgia, but for the most part, I think that this game has a genuinely interesting story with well written characters. At first, the linear progression and forced, boring combat is what drags the game down, but as the story develops, combat eventually becomes more interesting (though it is extremely dry at first). The story, music, and characters are what make this game worth playing.
After fixing the frustration of RAM leak crashing on loading save games I'm glad that i can say this game is just as good as it was when i played it over a decade ago. Still in my top three FF games. Many people aren't a fan of the game or the trilogy for that matter. I find the systems to be clunky and annoying at times but overall I enjoy them. Not being able to do conventional party swapping is wild but there are ways around that later in the game. Story is pretty on point with FF games. Cutscenes make you fee like its a movie. Overall would definitely recommend picking this up while its on sale. Probably wouldn't pay full price though due to it lacking on the performance side. For anyone suffering from crashing. NTCore 4Gb patch + FF13FixPatch (Nexus Mods) - d3d9.dll in root game directory /bin - ff13img.exe - use NTCore patch on exe AFTER creating backup (had problems with NTCore Patcher creating fresh exe) to work around DRM on steam set Steam .exe and the patched FF13.exe to "Run as Administrator". Would recommend running in minimum setting (window mode - low res - low shadow) for first launch to create .ini from patcher. After first launch, exit and change settings. If crashing on high shadow resolution lower to 1024 for better stability. Hopefully somebody finds this helpful!
i love my goat lightning ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
For a game from 2009, the art direction has held up surprisingly well by modern standards. I didn't personally mind the hallway simulator complaints because I also can't imagine this game having open zones worth exploring. Combat was easily the best part, the paradigm system combined with the ATB gauge took some getting used to but with the right pairings you can really melt through encounters and creates a very enjoyable loop. Story is utter nonsense, I constantly kept having to reference the datalog because I was not following with most of the cutscenes, and I still can't really tell you what happened. Yet, for some reason the atmosphere of the game was interesting enough that I just wanted to get to the next part, and i don't regret playing it. Some character moments are very endearing and even though Lightning starts out emotionally flat as a board, she gets better as it goes on. I was definitely playing more for the other party members. only real regret is there are some serious difficulty spikes towards the end of the game that there is no way to get around without grinding or having a cheese party build. Probably better off just turning the difficulty down and enjoying the vibes.
Fantastic Game. The PC Port does need some modding to actually work well. But it is not that hard. Love the World, the Characters and especially the Music
