Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Final Fantasy XIII isn't a game I hate. In fact, I think it does several things really well, but it's also one of the most uneven entries in the series. The combat system is easily the biggest highlight. Constantly switching Paradigms (a new take on the classic Job system) keeps battles engaging and rewards good timing rather than simply selecting attacks from a menu. Once the full system opens up, combat becomes genuinely satisfying. Unfortunately, I never connected with the story the way I expected from a Final Fantasy game. Many characters make decisions that feel irrational, making it difficult to become invested in their journey. For me, Sazh is by far the strongest character. His personal story was the main reason I kept playing, while Lightning, Snow, Hope, and Serah never resonated with me nearly as much. The game finally opens up near the end, but by then the linear structure and weaker storytelling had already left a lasting impression. The PC version also deserves criticism. It's based on the inferior PlayStation 3 version instead of the much better Xbox 360 release and requires community mods to run properly and fix many technical issues. Overall, this is a game I would rate as Mixed if Steam allowed it. The combat and character progression are strong enough that it doesn't deserve a negative review, but the weak PC port and disappointing story keep it from reaching the standards I expect from Final Fantasy. Pros: + Excellent Paradigm based combat system + Fun character progression (but hate long The Crystarium leveling) + Great soundtrack and presentation + Sazh is the best characters in the game + Combat becomes increasingly rewarding later on Cons: - Weak PC port that benefits greatly from mods - Story is disappointing compared to most Final Fantasy games - Many characters make irrational decisions - Very linear for most of the game - Takes too long before the gameplay fully opens up
Overall this is a great game with great story, great graphics and great strategy turned based game, there is nothing like ff13, no strategy game play the same as it. However the lack of mobility in combat of ff13 frustrates me more than anything, once bomb(monster name) come swarming you, it will be instant dead as the only way to move your character is by attacking the enemies, that way once you are distant away, you can switch to sentinel mode to provoke the enemies and prevent from team wipe. However, it became useless if the first thing the enemies does are swarming you with 3-4 bombs, if that happened, you can only wait for inevitably dead. Have to spend resources to make yourself hard to be track with item before approaching bomb(imo the strongest monsters in the game), you can't win against bomb unless you stagger them quick enough before they exploded. If you are here only for the story, generally you don't need equipment upgrade until chapter 11, I thought I can breeze through the enemies till the end however, battle is getting unfair and unfair starting chapter 11, enemies hit harder and tankier even in normal mode, forcing you to upgrade your weapons and accessories, aka forcing you to grind gil. So expect some grinding once you reached chapter 11 aka the starting point of the game where now you finally can choose your party members instead of a fixed party in previous chapters.
IT's a solid Final Fantasy game if you can get past how hard the game railroads you. The story itself is great, but the gameplay is lacking.
most people had issues with the game not running. i agree this game is poorly optimized for pc but in my exprience it was no issues at all. only issue is the fighting scene imo are too long and boring.
honestly, a good game. it gets too much flak. yes, its quite linear until closer to the end but i think the battle system is fantastic and its satisfying to upgrade characters. the weapon upgrading/crafting is a little complex so i'd recommend following a guide so you can just go down the right path for the best weapons and materials for upgrading and not waste too much time. graphics are amazing.
I really wanted to like this game, but I couldn't. Characters that don't feel like real people, and stupid confusing dialogue. The game is extremely linear except for one chapter that's so late in the game. The combat is system is not that bad, it has pros and cons but the balancing is abysmal! And that makes the combat system unbearable sometimes. The last chapter is the worst thing that've ever played in a Final Fantasy game. Recycled bosses including one phase of the last boss. Which is awfully balanced. You feel fine going to fight him and two phases are extremely easy and one is just stupidly difficult. To the game credit the world building is very cool, even though it's explained in a very confusing way. Also, you need to read the data logs to fully understand how the world works and to fully understand the story, which I must say it's pretty good on paper but it falls short because the dialogue and characters are badly written. Just give the story and world to a good writer and you'll get a pretty good sci-fi novel.
i'm in chapter 9 and as much as i have enjoyed the gameplay and the story so far the game crashes at certain parts(mostly chapter 7) got me so frustrated i was debating on not finishing the game. so until that gets fixed i cant recommend it
My oppinion buat game ini, untuk art sm grafis, masih termasuk bagus untuk game umur 17 tahun, apalagi pas cinematic cutscene beuhh keren bgt, untuk gameplay nya paradigm shift menurutku seru seru aja, tapi buat kebuka semua fiturnya itu jauh bgt di chap 10 akhir, tapi yg malesin itu kalau leader party mati game over, itu no no sih buatku. buat tingkat kesulitan ini game termasuk susah susah gampang, susah kalau bukan lawan boss, mudah pas lawan boss. buat character, spot utama buat vanille sm lightning sih, mereka kerasa development nya. overall is good but not very good.
