Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
I forced myself to finish this game after trying to play through it about four times over many years, and I have to say it really just was not worth it.
Great game with incredible Ost and one the best FF cast has to offer.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is slept on, it has a great story, and gameplay that I haven't seen or had fun with in a long while. I don't know why this game got a lot of hate when it came out years ago, I remember even loving the game as a teen despite the disc not being able to get past chapter 9 after the fal cie fight. I really wish this game was moved to consoles my only issue is that it does take 3rd party mods to make this run efficiently.
Lightning is the best character square has created. The story is killer Every single complaint about the games comes from people who a. have a bad experience because of the pc port and their machine crashing. This is specific to them. It never crashed on my machine. B. Never made it to chapter 11 where the game takes off the trainjng wheels and lets you rip. I really don't understand the complaints about its linearity when 10 is a straight tunnel all the way through. I had so much fun tailoring my party and trying to five star especially on the very deep boss battles.

good.
It takes some patching to get working well but I think it's worth it. The game has its issues but if you're capable of liking it, you will.
In my time playing, gameplay has consisted of running down linear levels, fighting the same repetitive battles where you only have to press the same 2 buttons. I really want to like the ATB system, as it definitely feels like it has potential, but it's just so damn boring to use. The combat isn't challenging or requiring you to use any brainpower whatsoever, and the level design is quite literally just corridors between combats or cutscenes. I've heard it gets good later, but I'm not willing to slog through 11 chapters of this tripe just to get to slightly better, more freeform gameplay.
