Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I played this game as a kid and was in luv with it. I cannot say the same now. I luv the design and the music, and sometimes the combat can bring me in, but other than that this game was not fun for me. The story is very mid to me. Every one of the characters was kinda annoying except for like 2. I do fw Lightning heavy, she swagged tf out. The enemies are so mid it's crazy, and the main antagonist is damn near nonexistent. Like I said earlier, the combat can be fun when you constantly have to switch Paradigm stances, but that shi can get so old when you're not locked in. Now the world had potential, but ts so linear it's not even funny. Nothing is memorable. Lastly, the enemy design is ahh. I hear Part 2 is better, so that's next. 5.5/10 for me. Byeeee.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
FFXIII: Grab your c**k chair and watch the game play itself.
It's a long review. So, TL;DR: This game sucks. I never had a PS3. After FFVIII I skipped the series entirely. People spent years telling me Final Fantasy was dead, FFX was a disaster, and Square had lost its mind. So I avoided all of it. Then I played FFX. Loved it, despite the miserable minigames and superboss nonsense. Played FFXII next. Didn't love the combat, but I loved existing in its world. I wandered into places before the story wanted me there. It felt like an RPG. Then I got to FFXIII... Nope. This is where the corpse starts smelling. Everyone complains about the corridors, but that's not even the main problem. The real problem is that the world doesn't exist. It's a gorgeous wallpaper. You walk ten feet, fight enemies, watch a cutscene, walk another ten feet, trigger another cutscene. The game constantly interrupts itself to remind you it would've rather been a movie. It's style devouring substance in real time. You're not playing an adventure; you're escorting a screensaver to its next cinematic. Congratulations, you've been promoted to passenger. Combat isn't much better. Forget party building, experimentation, or those little moments where you outsmart the game. Everyone eventually learns everything. Most fights revolve around filling the Stagger gauge because enemies apparently have diplomatic immunity until the bar says otherwise. Meanwhile your AI companions fling abilities around like raccoons fighting over electrical wiring. The story hides basic context in a datalog. Not extra lore. Context. The writers throw a thousand made-up terms at your head and expect curiosity to do the heavy lifting. By the time I understood what was happening, I didn't care. That's not mystery. That's administrative failure. Reading supplementary entries should enrich a story, not perform CPR on it. If your plot needs homework before it can function, you've already failed the assignment. The cast doesn't help. Lightning spends hours acting like a human workplace complaint. Snow delivers motivational speeches with the energy of a malfunctioning action figure. And every cutscene has somebody obsessively fiddling with the same prop like a first-year acting student who just discovered stage business. Lightning flips her gunblade open and shut. Hope stares at his knife for the seven-hundredth time. Nabaat removes her glasses, says something sinister, then puts them back on. Snow tosses his crystal around before delivering another speech nobody asked for. It's like watching a theater class where everyone was told the object in their hand is the character . Vanille never stops being irritating. Fang is fine until she repeats herself into irrelevance. Sazh is the only character with genuine humanity, which is probably why the game keeps shoving him into comic relief instead of letting him carry the story. Then there are the Eidolons. They don't arrive naturally; they materialize whenever a character reaches the contractual obligation phase of emotional development. Cue another round of recycled dialogue, another personal crisis, another giant transforming summon dragging an already tedious battle out for longer than human patience was designed to tolerate. It's less mythology and more HR paperwork for magic robots. And then people tell you it "opens up" after ten chapters. Ten. Chapters. Imagine defending that. That's like serving someone a burnt steak and proudly announcing dessert gets better after the third hour. When I finally reached Gran Pulse, I found what fans call freedom: a large field full of monsters. Not exploration. Not discovery. A field. The reward for enduring dozens of hours of hallways is receiving a bigger hallway with wildlife in it. Revolutionary. I've disliked games before. I've refunded games. This is the first time I felt cheated after buying one on sale. FFXIII is beautiful and spiritually vacant. A hollow machine wearing Final Fantasy's skin. Progression isn't exciting. New abilities aren't exciting. Even upgrading equipment somehow becomes a chore. The game keeps handing you new systems while making you dread interacting with them. And to the people posting essays about how we owe this game an apology: absolutely not. If this is your idea of a masterpiece, I can only assume the last RPG you played was a microwave. Avoid this game like you're smuggling narcotics through airport security and FFXIII is the TSA. It's a bad movie periodically interrupted by gameplay, a monument to style over substance, and the moment I finally understood why people spent years saying Final Fantasy had lost its way. They were being generous.
oyunda hiç bir şekilde ilerliyemedim ilerlemeyi bırak oynayamadım bile sürekli oyundan atması donması vs bütün sorunlar yuzunden insan çileden çıkıyor şahsen eski oyunların en peak oyunlar oldugunu düşünüyorum ama ffxııı beni optimize olarak hayal kırıklığına uğrattı iade talebi etmek zorunda kaldım oyunu açamadım oynayamadım oyun firmasıda bu oyunu tekrar optimize etmeye uğraşırmı bilmem ama şu haliyle oyun atma.performans kaybi vs.. alınmaz. ha yinede ff serisinde hastaysanız indirin deneyin ama oyun içi sıkıntıyla karşılaşırsanız şaşırmayın ve boyle sorunları yaşamayı göze bulundurarak alın.
Yes for cgi and cutscenes, And NO for gameplay. Buruk buiiii

This is the most deceptively boring game I have ever played. I'm on Chapter 7 and I can't take it anymore. I'm still going to finish it, but I highly doubt my impressions are going to change. Combat somehow manages to be frustratingly difficult and mind-numbingly boring at the same time. Paradigm Shifting actually is a cool idea on paper and would theoretically open up a lot of mechanical depth. It's almost the logical end point for the classic ATB system, where you swap job combinations on the fly to do different things for different situations. With a few tweaks, this has the potential to be the best battle system in the entire series. Unfortunately, so much of it amounts to letting Auto-Battle decide what to do for you (since choosing abilities yourself takes too long to be viable for how fast the fights are and how many you have to select, even with speed set to slow) which means mindlessly selecting Auto-Battle for most of the fight without any option to simply automate the damn thing. And yet it's also very difficult, because you need to be Paradigm Shifting constantly to not be doing chip damage and you can easily be one-shotted if you're too slow to heal yourself or remove status effects. This is actually one of the hardest FF games I've ever played as a result, and yet it doesn't feel fun to play, at all. Even if it were fun, the depth is gone for large chunks of the game. You don't even get Paradigm Shifts or magic or any kind of abilities until hours in, and for most of the time afterwards, you only have a grand total of 2 party members to work with, severely limiting any amount of mechanical depth this system could give you. Exploration is non-existent. X was aggressively linear, but its linearity held a narrative purpose. The party is on a pilgrimage to a single end location, and it's a path that all who came before have walked. There were still plenty of towns to explore, people to talk to, minigames, puzzle sections, sidequests...the world felt believable. It felt real. XIII's world feels like a disconnected set of video game levels, like a Mario game. People call it a hallway sim, and at first you think "oh, it can't possibly be that bad" but it really, truly is that bad. All you do is walk forward, fight enemies, and watch cutscenes. That's it. That is all you do. I cannot stress enough how monotonous the gameplay is. I could forgive all of this if it at least had a good story to tell. After all, this kind of linearity must mean the devs are hyperfocusing on telling a cohesive, compelling narrative. Isn't that the appeal of hallway simulators? To tell a story? Well, too bad! Everything about this game's story is confusing with a lot of things told rather than shown, and you have to read up on the in-game lore explanations to make sense of it all. The world doesn't feel natural with it being impossible to tell how these people live on a day-to-day basis, and the party consists entirely of unlikable, annoying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who physically assault each other for reasons that could easily be resolved if they just frigging talked to each other like normal human beings. Instead, a lot of the interpersonal conflict comes from misunderstandings and everyone involved refusing to talk about their issues. This approach doesn't work if we, the players, know what's going on. If we didn't, maybe we'd be hooked and we'd want to know what secrets the characters are hiding. But when those secrets are spelled out, and they just keep being hidden from the rest of the party for the whole damn game, it is unbelievably annoying to watch. This is not how you write drama. And then there's Vanille. Oh god, Vanille. Vanille is not only the worst FF character in the franchise, she might be one of the worst, most annoying characters in gaming. She is the Jar Jar Binks of FF, and I'm not even the first one who's ever said that. She has a nondescript accent that constantly fluctuates between American and Australian(!?), she is a total dimwitted "quirky" girl without any of the charm or nuance that Selphie, Yuffie, or Rikku had, her weapon is dumb, her run cycle is dumb, she's pedobait, and every single sound that comes out of her mouth during battle seems deliberately suggestive. If that wasn't enough, she is easily the most prominent and plot-relevant character in the entire game, and she's even the narrator. Vanille was meant to be the main character until it was changed to Lightning, probably because the devs realized too late how utterly irritating she was. I hate her. I hate everything about her. If FF ever had a rock bottom, this is it. Rarely has there ever been such an example of a beloved franchise's developers completely misunderstanding its appeal.
Love being able to play this again. I don't think it has had a remaster since the PS3 release. Looks great and stands the test of time.
Jugueulo
