In Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Inc., the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE.
AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Inc., an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra's elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor.

It is a throwback to the earliest era of computer games but is one of the best of that era. It has quite a bit of grinding but the grinding can feel relaxing. The mechanics can get a bit complicated toward the endgame, but it is still rewarding and fun.
Pra época que o jogo foi lancado (PS1) era uma obra prima. Volta a jogar confirma a excelencia desse jogo da Square. Pra mim o melhor da saga Final Fantasy. Vale a pena jogar antes dos remakes. Nota 10/10.

This is genuinely peak. Everything is fantastic. Words can't even summarize how amazing this game is for me. Best game I've ever played up till this point in my life. 10/10 masterpiece.

Final Fantasy VII é uma obra de arte atemporal, e tem um motivo muito claro pra ter virado a lenda que é. A história te prende nos primeiros 5 minutos. Você começa como um mercenário chamado Cloud Strife, ajudando um grupo de eco-terroristas a explodir reatores de energia de uma corporação maligna, e quando percebe, já tá cruzando o globo de Chocobo, enfrentando traumas de infância, clonagem alienígena e tentando impedir um meteoro gigante invocado pelo vilão mais estiloso e desgraçado da história dos videogames Por que esse jogo ainda é um absurdo de bom: • A Trilha Sonora do Nobuo Uematsu: É simplesmente covardia. Cada música gruda na cabeça, da tensão das batalhas ao tema de Midgar, culminando em One-Winged Angel, que faz até suar frio. • Sistema de Matérias: Um dos melhores sistemas de progressão já feitos em JRPGs. Enfiar orbes mágicos nos buracos da espada pra criar combinações quebradas e invocar monstros épicos continua incrivelmente viciante. • Minigames & Conteúdo: O Golden Saucer é um buraco negro de horas. Criar Chocobo dourado, apostar em corrida, jogar snowboard... o jogo é recheado de coisas pra fazer. O que você precisa saber antes de jogar hoje (1997 vs Hoje): • Os gráficos pré-renderizados envelheceram como leite se você jogar sem nenhum mod gráfico da comunidade (recomendo dar uma olhada no 7th Heaven se quiser dar um tapa visual). • A tradução clássica pro inglês tem suas bizarrices lendárias ("This guy are sick"), mas faz parte do charme da época. • Batalhas por turno e encontros aleatórios: se você não tem paciência pra andar pelo mapa e a tela estilhaçar do nada entrando em combate, use as funções de acelerar o jogo (Speed Boost). Se você gosta de RPG e quer entender as raízes do gênero moderno, jogar FF7 é uma obrigação cultural gamer. Ignore os polígonos quadrados e deixe a história te levar Nota: 10/10 facadas no peito e Knights of the Round invocados.

It is the OG game that I grew up playing on the Playstation 1. An extraordinary choice for all gamers, both young and old! I highly recommend for both old school gamers who want a trip down memory lane, and the new generation who want to experience what turn-based JRPGs are like. A five star rating from me!
