Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I got introduced to ff7 with the remake, i haven't played the original. I actually enjoyed remake and i thought that while i 100% understand the story was taking some liberties and do something else, the core of the game was still there in ff7 rebirth i feel im playing a 2010's open world game that has some lore that might or might not resemble the classic (and this is excluding all side content that gatekeeps cool materias, weapons and accessories that make combat fun than whatever this is) plus optimization for pc is horrible, honestly i can't really put much faith in square and it's on me for trying out this expecting something different

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best JP #17, worst PL #68 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 40/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really want to like this version of FFVII, but playing it has started to feel like an absolute chore. The game is absolutely riddled with mini-games, repetitive open-world activities, and some of the cringiest dialogue and cutscenes I've seen in a while. Every new area follows the exact same formula: climb towers, complete the same exploration objectives, and have Chadley call you every five minutes. It gets exhausting. The combat also has mechanics that feel frustrating rather than rewarding. Enemies like the jellyfish constantly dodge your attacks, so the only strategy is to stand around and wait. That's not engaging gameplay. Then there are enemies like the Deathwheel, which outruns you, spams missiles that stagger you, and when you finally pressure it, you can only attack it from behind because it counters everything else. Bosses aren't much better. Rufus is a perfect example you spend most of the fight waiting for him to reload because he counters nearly every attack until then. Meanwhile, almost everything he does knocks you down. That's not difficult in a satisfying way; it's just tedious. Flying bosses are another annoyance, especially when your melee characters can barely reach them. I'm also starting to hate the stagger mechanic that seems to have become a staple of modern Final Fantasy games. Instead of just letting me deal consistent damage, the game revolves around building stagger gauges and waiting for damage windows. It makes combat feel unnecessarily restrictive. And then there are the cutscenes. So many of them are so over-the-top and unserious that they completely break my immersion. Why am I suddenly doing a VR theater QTE mini-game in the middle of the story? There are moments where I can see why people love this game, but the constant interruptions, repetitive design, and gimmicky mechanics keep getting in the way of enjoying it.
戦闘がつまらん コマンドでいいのに すべてが面倒な感じ
Awful. 25 hours in and the main story has yet to move even a tiny bit; just following black robed dudes across the world map the entire time. The open world areas are a bunch of menial tasks that make even Ubisoft games look good. The pacing is terrible. Nothing exemplifies this more than Costa del Sol, where you are forced to do fetch quests and hide seek mini games so that you can purchase swimwear. The swimwear is apparently "required" so that you can visit the beach - to no-ones surprise you can walk on the beach in normal clothing without issue as soon as the quest is complete. The party is in the middle of tracking down Sephiroth yet here they are faffing around at a seaside resort. Shortly after the beach you go to an amusement park where a bunch of mini games are forced upon you. In fact, every other main story task has you doing some kind of minigame. The Queens Blood card game is the only tolerable one, all others are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and make me feel like I'm playing some kind of arcade machine rather than a supposed triple A title. The overarching story of FF7 is intriguing and the combat is (mostly) fun, but these good elements are unfortunately behind loads of time wasting bloat just so Squenix could sell 3 full priced games instead of 1.
It's enjoyable, but a bit harder to get into at first for me than the first part. The dialogue is goofy... like, more than usual. But the UI is beautiful. The map is beautiful. This whole game is beautiful. And there's plenty to see. Just... the writing can be painful at times.
Good game but you need to apply this setting in nvidia control panel to fix stutter First Open control panel Go to Program setting Add Final Fantasy rebirth Change these setting Preferred refresh rate [ Highest available ] Max Frame Rate [ 90 ] Game cap broken cause stutter make sure in game cap 120fps Vertical sync On this will reduce screen tearing Hope this work for you guys
我真是服了,5080,9800x3d玩这游戏,卡吐了,降最低画质分辨率都卡
solid game, however..... my god chapter 11 puzzles are bad, im talking EXTREMELY bad game design. You have barret with a gun, then cait sith has to pick up a barrel and throw it in a rotating combine, but the camera and description are god awful. Im at 5 hours at this one part, I cannot hit it, its effectively stumped my game play. I like puzzles, but man this is really bad.... like old school playstation 1 puzzles that failed players gameplay bad. Cant recommend it right now... its really given me a bad taste.
i dont recommend this game i liked the first one but this one sucks
