For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game itself is great, but why on earth the system around it is designed like that? 1. Nothing to do while match making and need to be quick to click "Ready" I have been playing this game on mobile for a good few years, and I can't fathom why on earth the mobile version allow single player play while waiting, but in better, prettier PC version, I have to stare at match making menu. When 4 players are finally matched together, everyone have 30 seconds to "accept" their match invitation. Because this game is way past its prime, the match making can take a while. And by simply leaving the screen for a quick drink or something can cause me to miss the "accept" prompt. As a punishment for playing this dying game I paid for, I got banned from online play for 60 seconds. Well, no problem. I will just head to Offline play... And the "play" button on Offline play just disappeared? 2. Can't see the entire board. Awkward camera. Who in the right mind design a board game that, when player zoomed out to see the whole situation and positioning, the clouds obscure the view? Zooming out already cause everything to be smaller, now clouds? Certain action "lock" and "unlock" camera. When an opposing player move, the camera got yanked to them. This is very useful to observe the opposing player gameplay, but it can happen when I am trying to play cards to tiles or other inactive players. Every time the camera follow a player, the FOV resets. It can cause me to waste what little time I had to unlock camera, zoom out again, drag my POV to desired tile. Good luck trying to play card to the next player, because the active player may choose to end turn quick and player characters can't be targeted by card on their turn. It is a good game but feels like a down grade to playing actual physical board game in any way.
I want to love Armello. I really do. Despite the negative review, I don't necessarily hate it, it's just best in doses. The art and style is great, the music fits, the designs are novel, the core loop and concept of the game was at least imaginative. Plus, I've owned the game for a long time now, and every so often I do play with a friend of mine - and will likely continue playing with them even after writing this because they really do enjoy it and perform well in it. But once I got past the presentation - stale at best, tilting at worst. The whole thing feels like building a house of cards in a wind tunnel. Your draws are ultimately random, quests plop themselves in far-off spots without warning, you can get a follower against your will that sends you in random directions every turn which has high propensities to ♥♥♥♥ you over - and you’re CONSTANTLY forced to drop whatever plan you had to then chase whatever the game decides to dangle in front of you. And I know people will say “just adapt to the closest win condition,” but that’s basically an admission that the game doesn’t actually reward strategy. It rewards adaptability, sure, but in a way that’s driven by constant curveballs rather than meaningful decision making. The characters? Balanced, yeah, but... kinda weak. To me, at least. I usually find one character in a game I’ll main, even if they’re not the strongest, but for Armello I almost never played the same character twice because NONE of them stood out or felt good. The stats are so low across the board that picking someone feels more like choosing the least disappointing option rather than finding a playstyle you love. And the only way to permanently improve your stats is to do quests during the course of the match - and god help you to consistently make it to the spaces it chooses for you. Matches end too fast, which is crazy for me to say because it *also* feels like matches end in a slog toward a loss that I saw coming halfway through, anyways. I don't think I've ever witnessed a genuine upset. The AI players are just a headache. They’ll go out of their way to mess with you, be it cards or combat, even if it doesn’t benefit them. They ignore each other more often than not, and somehow always know where you are, even if you’re stealthed. One bad turn, one unlucky encounter, can erase everything you’ve been building toward. It's also distinctly unkind to new or casual players. You'll need to study the mechanics in whatever way you prefer just to have a fighting chance, so it lacks the draw of intuitive gameplay. Play a card at the wrong time, use a card you shouldn't have, don't use *enough* of your cards during your turn, or move to the wrong space before (or after) any of that - and you’ll be punished, often in ways you couldn’t anticipate unless you already knew the game inside-out. It's beautiful, and can at least be a time-passer with people you know - but in my opinion, it's just aggravating, often enough for the verdict. I should not have to build characters and equip items *expressly* for the purpose of taming such prolific RNG. So although, yes, I'll continue playing with friends - unless you really love random chaos and don’t mind your wins feeling more like luck than intent - I can’t recommend it.
Played this game for a long time. Now, this game is riddled with teamers and Cheat Engine hackers that hold your game hostage until you quit those games manually. Sad to hear that the developers of this game are in hibernation and won't be able to fix these issues for a very long time. Additionally, as of 6 months ago, the Valve Anti Cheat system was removed from this game as shown in the steamdb.info page.
НЕ ПОКУПАЙТЕ ЭТУ ИГРУ! ОНА УМЕРЛА КАК МУЛЬТИПЛЕЕР И ДАЖЕ ВО МНОГОМ КАК СИНГЛ DON'T BUY THIS GAME! IT DIED AS A MULTIPLAYER AND EVEN IN MANY WAYS AS A SINGLE. наконец загуглите статью на PC Gamer от 2024года - Armello studio League of Geeks is 'going into hibernation for the foreseeable future' and may not be back где говорится что студия League of Geeks, объявила о переходе в режим «спячки» на неопределенный срок, и не факт, что когда-нибудь возобновит работу.
'strategy' that easily gets completely derailed and unplayable because of random map and trash AI programming, fun with friends, but the AI is abhorrently set to target players primarily, they don't complete their own objectives at all
Really enjoy this game. Have come back to it many times over the years, but more as a distraction than a committed timesink. Can't recommend. Game is dead. You're lucky to get 1 group of 4 people in the middle of the day(in American timezones) and never will any other time(even in the game's home of Australia). It's a 10 year old indie game, so unless its name is "Terraria", it can't really be expected to have much of a multiplayer scene these days to be fair. But the singleplayer not only isn't fun due to how weak the AI is, but also the game is set up so singleplayer nets you less than 1/3 the character exp that multiplayer does, and even in multiplayer if you win every game that leveling is slow. Even if some players have found hundreds or thousands of hours of enjoyment out of it, the game is only kept from being absolutely linear by RNG. The only thing you really control to change how your game goes is your character and a very limited selection you can pick 2 small buffs from at the start of a match. Over the span of a full game, even the randomness of card draws seems to become its own form of linearity, as with how little variety there is, you will likely pick up roughly 3/4 the same cards each game anyway. If the devs had given this game updates in its lifetime that saw more new cards added, new kinds of spaces for maps to generate, new maps(they'd mostly just need to repaint the majority of things to make it work), it would have a lot more longevity, replayability, and variety. Unfortunately, they opted to focus almost solely on new characters, which while good, just don't change the game up nearly as much. So in summary: Good game, lots of fun to come back to for a few games now and then if you can find a match. If you don't already own it, don't buy it. They priced it too high from day 1, and now that it's a decade old, there's no reason to pay so much for a game this small.
I can't believe it's already been 11 years since it was released. It doesn't feel that old (I mean you should feel my face after 11 years of weathering). I adore this game. Armello is an easy-to-learn simple boardgame at first glance. However, more experienced players can enjoy its various gaming concepts, which allow for much more advanced tactics and strategies. The goal is simple: the king has been corrupted, and you need to steal the crown from him by any means necessary. Pick one of the many different clans and show that king what you've got. The art is incredibly cute ♡ I love the playable characters, followers, and all the various cards. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3279060303 When you're unsure what to do and just want to chill out with friends, Armello is always a safe bet. Even with AI, the game is super enjoyable. The only downside is that if someone disconnects from multiplayer, they can't rejoin.(which can be especially troublesome if you have
♡ Spanish weefee ♡
). You might be on the brink of getting that rare achievement, and then
*SONIDO DE EXPLOSION*
, you have to start all over again. And yet, despite this tiny disappointment of developers not being able to fix this after 11 years, we still can't stop playing this game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3279059942 Oh, and I heard there's an actual physical board game coming out for this game, probably in 2025! I'll wait and see what the critics say (you know how those Kickstarter hypes can sometimes go wrong), but my curiosity is piqued! Fantastic game. Highly recommended! ≧◡≦
