About
The world has fallen under the dominion of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a sinister corporation that has monopolized the planet's very life force as Mako energy. In the urban megalopolis of Midgar, an anti-Shinra rebel group calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their campaign of resistance.
Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the rebels, unaware that he will be drawn into an epic battle for the fate of the planet, while having to come to terms with his own lost past.
This product is an upgraded version of FINAL FANTASY VII – 2013 Edition with additional features (there are no changes or additions to the story).

that was the first RPG, or rather JRPG, in my life as a kid, and because of it, it changed my attitude toward games. now I've come back after a few years when the last part of the remake is about to come out and I really enjoy playing it, I'm still having fun, but what about in general besides that? Final Fantasy 7 was the first JRPG released in Europe, and thanks to it, more Asian games got noticed. Until then, maybe if it weren't we wouldn't have heard about a lot of good titles like souls games the game is turn-based using the ATB system which for that time is decently made, enemies as well as you have parrying skills where you just wait a bit instead of attacking right away, which is cool. There are certain charged attacks that need time to be cast, and everything flows smoothly from one enemy to another when one dies and u use attack on somebody who died so I would say that the fight is enjoyable! what about the story? hmm I think that Final Fantasy 7 has one of the best storylines of all time this game gives a new mark for the storylines to gaming history I really recommend checking out this story because I wouldn't want to spoil anything here even when its old game and have remake (we gonna talk about it later) characters? Phenomenally written, guys. The main companions of Cloud are not just pets but also very significant characters that you can easily get attached to. One of such characters for me is Barret, who is tough in everything he does, but outside of work, he's an emotional teddy bear. it's really hard to write anything bad about anyone here, even about Dr. Hojo ([good writen antagonis]) Music is great and iconic although sometimes it's too quiet...I recommend using mods for soundtracks if u wanna replay it Is it worth playing this game before the remakes? Is it that much of a pain to play this because of the graphics? well It's definitely worth playing this game before the remakes, especially since they differ a lot story-wise, and also so you later have a full view of what has changed etc etc graphice? its personal preference you can always download some mods if you want. 10/10 I would recommend this game to everyone Aesis ❤️

No exaggeration, This is my favorite game in the history of man kind and I've played most games I'm just sayin. The remakes i hate em ngl. I think square is Shinra and they ruin their own characters by making them imho shallow. This older game does no such thing and imho that makes it infinitely superior.

Finally played it after all these years and managed to avoid looking stuff up and getting spoilers. I was gonna play remake but everyone I know said do this first. I don't have nostalgia for it so, the way it looks was pretty meh. however, The story exceeded my expectations and made up for how ugly it is. SO glad i finally played through it. I can't handle random encounters. They drive me insane. It's like dropping your keys in your driveway five times when you are just trying to get to work. Being able to turn those off are what made finally give it a go. Glad i did. I can't wait to play remake next.
