Final Fantasy IX es, para mí, la mejor entrega de toda la saga y de uno de los mejores JRPG clásicos de la historia. Square Soft se lució creando un mundo lleno de encanto, personajes memorables y una historia que mezcla humor, drama y melancolía de forma magistral. Personajes increíbles: Zidane, Vivi, Steiner, Garnet… cada uno con una personalidad y arco tan bien escrito que se te quedan grabados para siempre. Atmósfera única: Ese toque de fantasía clásica con aire de cuento de hadas oscuro. Los escenarios son preciosos incluso con los gráficos remasterizados. Banda sonora legendaria: Nobuo Uematsu en estado puro. Temas como "Melodies of Life", "Not Alone" o la batalla contra Kuja te ponen la piel de gallina. Combate equilibrado y divertido: El sistema de Active Time Battle con las habilidades y limit breaks sigue siendo muy satisfactorio. Rejugabilidad: las 24 invocaciones, los Chocobos, los minijuegos… hay mucho contenido si quieres sacarle todo el jugo. El único "pero" real es que el ritmo del principio puede sentirse algo lento si vienes de juegos modernos, pero una vez que avanza la historia, no quieres parar. Si te gustan los JRPG con alma, personajes profundos y una historia que realmente te emociona, juega Final Fantasy IX. Es una obra maestra que sigue siendo tan mágica hoy como lo fue en su momento.10/10 — Mi Final Fantasy favorito junto con VI y VII. Para disfrutar plenamente de este juego en steam recomiendo: 1. Compra e instala el juego. 2. Descarga e instala Moguri Mod. 3. Cuando le des a "jugar" en tu biblioteca de steam se abrirá un nuevo cliente de Moguri Mod, configura las opciones gráficas en "ajustes" y activa o desactiva los trucos a tu gusto. 4. Descarga Mogurid Mod, moguri 30fps videos, el Pack de escenas 4K y el anniversary portraits. 5. Dale a jugar y disfruta de tu aventura en este cuento animado que es Final Fantasy IX.

Final Fantasy IX sempre terá um lugar especial para mim, pois foi o primeiro jogo que joguei no PlayStation 1 e uma das experiências que me fez amar os RPGs. O jogo é uma verdadeira homenagem à essência clássica de Final Fantasy, com uma história emocionante, personagens inesquecíveis e um mundo cheio de magia e descobertas. A jornada de Zidane e seus companheiros consegue equilibrar aventura, humor e momentos extremamente marcantes. A ambientação de Gaia é fantástica, com cidades memoráveis, uma trilha sonora simplesmente maravilhosa e uma direção artística que continua encantadora mesmo depois de tantos anos. O sistema de habilidades, a evolução dos personagens e os combates por turnos entregam uma experiência profunda e muito prazerosa. Mais do que um jogo, Final Fantasy IX é uma lembrança de uma época especial dos videogames. Um RPG feito com coração, que consegue emocionar, divertir e permanecer na memória de quem teve a oportunidade de jogá-lo. Um clássico atemporal e, para mim, uma das maiores obras da história dos RPGs. Nota: 10/10

This was the game of my childhood and i'll die on the hill that it is the best FF game up to this date. However the SquareEnix port is from the mobile version so it has quite a few things that arent very good... like the SFX are a downgrade IMO. Therefore this is better played with Moguri Mod that brings some of the PS1 things and has quite a few more QoL you can use to improve the experience further. Definitely worth the money. Story, music, characters, artstyle... everything is amazing and enjoyable. Also has the older "turn based" combat from FF.
