Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

cool
A fun, flawed execution of a cartoon supervillain colony builder. I like the art style, base building, the characters, and the comedy. Overall an enjoyable experience. While I wouldn't call it a perfect game, I don't personally see the reason for a negative review. It can be frustrating at times, with pretty much all of the mission progression being clicking buttons on the world map, performing research for an objective which yields nothing else, killing a few enemy agents, or interacting with an object in the base for a minute or two. The game is intentionally very slow and grindy. It is a long plotting game with a lot of waiting for things to happen. Another frequent complaint of mine is there can sometimes be too much micromanagement and simultaneously times too little control. (Ex: Every minion has two traits and can be assigned specifically to a variety of positions or jobs in the base, but minions cannot be directed or controlled beyond prioritising tasks in a small circle around the boss. Just have to hope the right peons do the right jobs the player wants of them and that good workers don't charge a group of soldiers alone or get gunned down on first sight.) Balance is also questionable at times with certain threats being a complete non-issue and others on the same level being very significant events needing direct attention. (Some super agents die without me even bothering to check on them while others kill half my workforce on a good day, when everything went according to plan). Most traps are pretty pointless without having one hundred of them in one long path, and late-game on hard mode most agents will simply have to be killed instead of distracted without excessive effort. I don't really love most of the DLC content. Having completed the game with every DLC, I would probably play without them in the future. I would recommend the base game, but maybe on a fairly decent sale. If one doesn't mind the slow pace and lack of emotional connection to anything in the base outside of a few key characters, it can be a pretty good, pretty fun base builder.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Honestly, its not without its flaws but this is my favoirite resource/base management game to date I have played. It's asthetic is charming, its gameplay rewarding and it has a lovely sense of humor.
As a fan of the first game, I really enjoy this.
If you’ve ever dreamed of being a stylish supervillain with a lair full of traps, henchmen, and world domination schemes—Evil Genius 2 delivers in spades. The game is a great mix of strategy, base-building, and dark humor, wrapped in a polished, cartoonish aesthetic. Each genius has a unique personality and playstyle, and there’s something incredibly satisfying about building the perfect evil base while outsmarting enemy agents. It’s a fun, tongue-in-cheek experience that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly what makes it so enjoyable. Highly recommended for fans of simulation and satire!
Fun game, long run but fun to enjoy and have everything in the end.
一打开就有点停不下orz 杀时间利器
今年玩的还不如去年流畅
Liking this game really depends how much you are a fan of slow-moving, base-building/managing games. I see a lot of the comments on the negative side are from people that were expecting more of a fast-paced experience, but this is what I signed up for, so I don't mind it. That being said, there are a lot of little things that could be improved upon. -Being able to set a certain number of minions looking at the camera monitors at any given time would be nice, as they tend to wander off, and then your security is basically useless -Having something that tells you WHERE on the global map the number of things to-do are for would be a massive help rather than having to hunt around and try to figure out where I don't have an evil scheme going. -Maybe the little silent alert bar that tells me I've got Agents showing up could come with a voice line that properly gets my attention while I'm trying to figure out the best way to cram turbines into the power plant. However, all of my gripes are ultimately nit-picking. I'm still 22 hours in with no sign of slowing up any time soon (and it's been less than 2 days total since I started, so you can see how much of my days has been taken up with this now).
Recommendation is based on what I purchased this game for which was under $4 dollars. It's definitely a bargain but I wouldn't for asking MSRP because there is very little replay-ability after 80 hours that I fully invested in. The game is very entertaining from the beginning and becomes a fish hook that reels you in and keeps you busy for hours... then slowly you learn few things about the game that begin to frustrate you and by the end, it becomes such a grind you just skip few remaining side quests and go for the end to just finish it so you can get over it already. The worst is game's AI. You can set up elaborate traps that actually works beautifully to keep them off those pesky agents away in a highly entertaining way but when your minions constantly gets in the way and ruin it with no other available fixes, it just becomes one frustrating ordeal over and over again. Lot of early traps doesn't even work. It only works against your defecting minions. They all get easily disarmed by every agent so it's POINTLESS!! Also, there are no bulk build. NONE. This game will require you to build lot of fusions power stations to keep up with lot of demand as well as gold safe so your precious resources do not go wasted, so when you decide to expand you vault or power station, you do it one click at a time. Good luck! The crime lords you beat and then recruit afterwards mostly become useless other than maybe 3. You can only take in 5 and once you do, you cannot edit them and they cannot be replaced. Many of them have abilities that are completely useless and most of them are very squishy. The game missions are anything but creative. You send your specialized minions to a specified locations all over the world, then lured the crime lords or super agents to your lair and defeat them. Rinse and repeat. THAT'S ALL! The game surprisingly has little or no bugs. The music and sound from your power station gets so repetitive and annoying I mostly played on mute. Again, I got lot out of this game for little I paid, but unfortunately, this is not a good buy based of what they are asking without special sale.
