Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gud Game
After 46 hours, I finally pushed to complete the game.. and what a fun addictive game it was. I've had it in my library for a couple of years and only now in August 2025 gave it a chance. Definitely worth whatever they're charging for it these days. There is plenty of game play to keep you entertained for many hours. I will probably do another play through with a different genius and play a different type of build. I played Emma on Normal and stuck to a deception heavy playstyle. Definitely research things as fast as you can. Start with multiple whiteboards and research everything that requires using those. Then get rid of them and move on to impact analyzers and research all of those. Repeat cycle with different research stuff. I feel like it definitely made things easier. You'll eventually have a bunch of science based minions that can do other stuff in the control room for you after you researched everything. I'd give this game a 9/10. Art direction is really fun and playful. Sound design is great. The music stands out to me a lot. I find myself humming the music while I'm not playing sometimes. Switching the time to "Fast-Forward" in game causes everything to pitch up, which can be funny for certain things the minions do. Cut-scenes are sort of lacking in the game. I mean, they exist.. But you can tell this is where they put probably the least effort into the game. Not to say they're necessarily bad, they're just kind of whatever. Additionally, when I completed my playthrough and enthroned myself, there was an actual CGI cut-scene, but unfortunately, there was zero audio. I'm not sure if that was by design, or my game bugged out, but that was rather unfortunate... To play for 40+ hours and get a 1 minute, no audio cut-scene was kind of weak. But, gameplay was the focus of my review. It's really fun. I would love to see a 3rd installment of Evil Genius some day. There's a lot more that could be done with this game that would be really fun.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

very good game, played all through the covid pandemic while it was on gamepass, would buy on sale
good.
i am now a war criminal
I love this game, but it is NOT a game for everyone. It has a lot of waiting and repetitive actions, but I don't mind it. It starts off tougher in the beginning, but when you get the gist of it, it all clicks together. The real place this game shines is in the charm. It feels exactly like you are playing a stereotypical evil villain. You will either love this game or hate it. I recommend doing through research before getting it.
best game I can always come back to
