Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
$40 for this game is an absurd price. Not sure I'd even recommend it on a steep discount. Save your money.
In my experience so far, the game game is not nearly as buggy or unpolished as some make it out to be, if you enjoy strategy games with turn based combat and light RPG elements, you will enjoy this game. DO NOT let the negative reviews fool you, it is very underrated and worth trying, after all if you encounter major issues or don't enjoy it simply refund it.

Empire of Sin Review Empire of Sin brings forward an ambitious concept and unique ideas that could make for an exceptional strategy game. However, while the foundation is intriguing, the execution struggles to deliver the polished experience players might expect. The user interface feels unintuitive and clunky, often slowing down gameplay rather than enhancing it. The camera system also adds to the frustration—zooming out shifts the view to a city-wide perspective, which isn’t always practical when managing your immediate surroundings. Clicking on a location leads to slow transitions that hinder flexibility in navigating the game world. Starting the game can feel overwhelming, as notifications bombard the player from the outset. Unfortunately, the tutorial doesn’t provide sufficient guidance to ease this learning curve, leaving crucial mechanics unexplained. The pacing is another area where the game falters, often feeling dragged out and unnecessarily tedious. There’s also a noticeable imbalance, with the AI frequently launching unfair raids that players cannot adequately counter, making the challenge feel more punishing than rewarding. The money system, while central to gameplay, feels inconsistent and disconnected from the overall pacing. Diplomacy, a feature with great potential, falls flat—alliances are fleeting, and AI factions start off hostile, often forcing the player into conflict. This makes diplomacy feel more like an afterthought rather than a meaningful strategic option. Starting positions further emphasize the uneven experience. A good starting area can result in a dull, uneventful game, while a poor one can leave players overwhelmed and stressed as they contend with relentless pressure from rival factions. These inconsistencies detract from what could be a compelling and immersive experience. Empire of Sin has all the ingredients to be a standout title, but it needs refinement and balance to fully realize its potential. With improvements to its mechanics, pacing, and AI systems, the game could become a much more enjoyable and rewarding experience. I hope to see future updates or revisions that address these issues and help Empire of Sin live up to its promise.
scam rugpull buy the devs. last time i ever preordered and ever will
Jeu abandonné par les devs. Dommage car un gros potentiel
p社试水之作,很水,并且制作组已经放弃
this game is riddled with bugs, honestly dont waste money on this trash game
The bugs and lack of polish in this game make a Bethesda game look positively saintly. Edit: I've finally given up and uninstalled the game after encountering a major bug that stops the story quest from progressing further. Also after a short while the gameplay becomes boring and repetitive and you can steamroll the game fairly easily. This game had a lot of potential but clearly abandoned by the developers.
I like the everything in the game, but one thing - completely unbalanced computer players system. I played on normal difficulty, and it was like: you make 10-15 damage, they - 40 damage. All the time. You gather hell of a team, take out every establishment, and then go after a boss and loose 100% of time. Also I found it's much more profitable to use "Auto resolve", after which every character had 100% health, but if you fight personally - all return with severe loss. Similar goes with economics. Booring awaiting to get money, to upgrade to get subtle change. Just booring economics.
