I do not encourage, what would otherwise be considered a small patch in other single player games, to be turned into paid content. I'd prefer if this was the last time that fromsoft does something like this.

The Tarnished pack is one of the worst DLC content that From Software has ever put out. I have 3 major areas that ultimately affect my review. 1.) The cosmetic horse armor This DLC adds functionally useless, but visually pleasing cosmetic armor for the Tarnished's faithful steed. Personally I don't mind cosmetic DLC, but this pack lacks enough cosmetics to make it worthwhile on its own. The pack tries to make it worth more by adding game content; however this makes the DLC no longer reviewable as cosmetic DLC. 2.) The Content This Pack adds a small handful of content to pad out it's worth. This include 2 new starting classes, which are otherwise fairly easy to mod in without needing to spend 5 real dollars for. The content it otherwise adds in includes 4 new armor sets, 3* new base game weapons, 2 NPC invasions which are needed to fight to get 2 armor sets and weapons, and that's it. 3.) The Middle Finger know as "Could've Would've Should've" This Pack adds more than just 3 weapons, in total it adds in 7. The previously unmentioned 4 weapons are all variations of weapons classes that were only obtainable in the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. One of my gripe about SOTE is that it is only accessable by the end of the game, making it's new weapon variety feel flat due to the time spent upgrading a vanilla weapon. This pack adds 4 DLC weapon classes to the base game allowing players to access a pinch of the weapon types found in SOTE, and is a fantastic idea. At least it would have been a good idea, if they put them in the SOTE expansion. Instead they expect players to spend 5 dollars for a teaser for the expansion that came out over 2 years ago. Devil's Advocate I've heard rumors that the reason this DLC came out is because investors are criticizing FromSoft and it's publishers for not Monetizing Elden Ring enough. If this is true than it's important to vocalize one's complaints for this kind of predatory marketing. It's also equally important to be able to play a different game, since most of the greedy corpos are trying to sell DLC to people with an addiction to their games (Gacha games like Uma Musume are literally gambling and profit heavily from the poor self-control of youths).
yall know that golden horse from oblivion
should have been free.
This is disgusting
Don't do that ever again please
the content is good but this should have been a free update
I actually like the classes and characters but this should've been free and now the twitch quest trash? RIP Fromsoft the corporate interests finally got to yas </3
