Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 10 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
- combat sometimes freezes (one of your characters or enemy is next in the queue but does nothing, music and idle animation still play) only ALT-F4 helps - I am near Hishahn in the main story and just wanted to level some other characters and now this freeze always happens after the second fight in an area - game is not playable in this state

Fantastisches Spiel !! Habe es auf der PS 5 durchgespielt. Schöne Story, Symphatische Charaktere. Tolle Welt.
I recommend it but only begrudgingly. Mostly because I want a second Eiyuden but they MUST do better on the next one. Why? Well, let me tell you: It has all of the classic Suikoden staples but fumbles the landing on every single one just about. The only true upgrade is the combat system is amazing, the trading is top notch, and the graphics are beautiful. Everything else just feels lackluster or downright bad to meh. The story, despite probably being longer than any previous suikoden game, never feels very strong. Like, the stakes just dont feel like they did in the others. Everything feels very juvenile. Ive seen a lot if people making excuses for this but the fact is there was no need to tone down the serious nature of the story. I played the original 2 suikoden games at 11 years old and the story wasnt so serious that I couldn't grasp it. There was no need to dumb/numb things down to the point they did. The war battles... omg the war battles. This is by far the worst war system of any suikoden game. In all the others it was a treat to mix generals and abilities around even in the games where the actual battling was just ok. Here you have extremely limited control over setting your army up and the battles themselves are just tedious and boring. Finally, the side games... I consider the character collecting a side game BUT it was always one that felt fleshed out and you felt the impact of almost every single character. Here its like they literally just added most characters just to say they did. There's no soul behind most of them and almost all of the side games introduced by characters have lackluster rewards that aren't worth anywhere near the time it takes to earn them. This is the exact opposite of previous suikoden games. So, I guess what I said in the last paragraph sums things up perfectly: Eiyuden lacks soul. Its a hollow facsimile of the suikoden games we grew up with and loved. I am glad they made the game and I truly want them to make another but my god i hope they learn from their shortcomings on this game. They really could have had something special here imo but just came up short everywhere, and didn't stick the landing for damn near every aspect of the game.
Honestly? I'm roughly 16 or so hours into the game, but pretty far past many of the first major milestones, etc, and I can say I love this game. Sure, I think it takes a person who appreciates a good story driven JRPG to fully enjoy it, but I find this to be a mix between Chrono Cross and Suikoden (or Octopath Traveler) in all of the best ways...and honestly it's been addicting and stunning to me so far. There is *so* much to do and everything I've done seems to open up something else to do. I can see myself putting many hours into this game! If I *WERE* to have a complaint, I'd say yes, sometimes the cutscenes can be a bit close together when your anxious for some action, but again, as I have played many story driven RPGs, it just takes a little getting used to. Otherwise, the artwork and transitions are all amazing and what a stunning job will all of the voiceover work, especially with such an extensive and ellaborate cast of characters. Love it!
Thank you for a proper game of Suikoden.
