Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 10 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Masterpiece of a game. when in with zero expectations and ignored all reviews..I wanted a great looking 2.5d game that has good combat, lots of unlockables/collectables/roaming...and this game has got all of that and more. Please do not listen to the negative reviews. Its an emotional rollercaoster of a game.

I read reviews for games before i dive in and the reviews for this game in the negative are weirdly wrong. *I saw a complaint about no save points. They are at the start and end of every dungeon and some times in the middle and at every town. *I saw people talk about it being slow combat. It is normal JRPG combat speed, also if you are over leveled for a area you can just force the monsters to auto run with 100% success odds. So its more courteous than 99% of JRPG's. *I saw people talking about it being a grind. I have not needed to grind at all. I am pretty sure this is a skill issue where people are spoiled for choice and building weak teams. You can in fact level so fast, that catching a entirely new team up to your level with all new characters takes about 20 minutes. So if for whatever reason there was ever something you couldn't do, you could make a custom team to over come it... Which has never come up for me. *Saw people say it had bad writing that is AI gen. I mean i dream of the day video games have a story i am as apt to read as game of thrones but have long long long ago given up on it. Games have bad writing and that's normal, this game is no exception. But this game is no exception, it's standard video game quality. And if it were AI made (which i doubt) it reads as standard human NPC RPG dialog, so hardly matters. *I read people saying its buggy and unstable. I have had no problems, no crashes. *I read people complaining about bad camera angles. Put simply they are wrong they are great. The camera angles are all chosen for style and beauty, and look incredible. They some times hide things behind assets, but hide in heavy quotes as it's hidden in a way your average five year old will find the right level of challenging to discover. And as for personal pathing we're talking walking behind a giant tree in a curved smooth walk way you cant fall off of, or into a door way and down a straight tunnel behind a wall... Not rocket science. And if there was a struggle there's a mini map that shows the walk able area you and your facing. Yeah your not going to struggle with the camera and it looks great. I came out of playing Suikoden games 1 2 and 3, and decided to try something more modern. This was great, tidy clean production and I'm having a great time. That being said I think a lot of the afore mentioned complaints come from people who have not played hundreds of JRPG's. They come from Skyrim, Genshin, Diablo 4, Hogwarts ect ect ect. So if you feel I'm calling you out here make sure you watch some game play before you buy because this game aims to be a love letter to JRPG fans and that doesn't mean that is going to directly be something you like. However if you like I are looking for a clean modern JRPG experience created with very very pretty modern aesthetics in a PS2 style with modern polish on old systems that don't throw the baby out with the bath water, you should buy this game. Especially if you loved Suikoden.
This is a JRPG with a fairly classic gameplay from an indies developer. The game itself is very good quality and a strong storyline. There is also a heap of mini games like fishing, town development, land ship racing, character collection... and more, which really hit the spot for me. There are a few little quirks though, like not being able to change key layouts, and lengths issues with some dungeons (there is a very long dungeon early in the game, which is kinda tough) All in all, I've loved this game. I wish this dev will produce more like it.
This game really said, “What if we made Pokémon, but instead of cute creatures, it’s just… people with jobs?” Blacksmith? Recruit. Chef? Recruit. Suspicious guy standing near a barrel? Congratulations, he now lives in your castle and expects benefits. Combat is classic JRPG comfort food turn based and strategic. “Wait, why did I bring the beekeeper into a boss fight?” Because he BELIEVES, okay?? The story has that heartfelt, save the world energy, but every emotional moment is beautifully undercut by the fact that your army includes what feels like an entire small town’s worth of side characters who just showed up and never left.
a perfect love letter for suikoden 1 and 2 fans!
