Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 10 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I had an incredible time with Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. The game was challenging and, at times, rage-inducing but in the best way possible. It perfectly captured the spirit and charm of Suikoden I & II, which I’ve deeply missed for years. Huge thanks to the devs for reviving that classic JRPG magic. What a fantastic and memorable experience.
The spiritual successor to a classic; Suikoden. It makes me wonder what's missing from rpg teams. Are companies too big? Musicians, writers, and game designers can't get together in a room and jam? There is a strong but hard to pin down trait that Eiyuden has in spades; heart. Eiyuden is made with a tremendous amount of passion. The recruiting is satisfying, and the dialogue is very different per character, town building is fun, and many of the steps lead to new quests and mini games. Honestly, more mini games than a reasonable person can play, they are entire side campaigns. The main story is simplistic but full of heart, with more than a few bold turns, and dramatic character arcs. It's a shame Murayama didn't get to see its release. Rest in peace.
A solid JRPG, 7.8/10 This game is fun and enjoyable, the battle felt too easy sometimes especially the first half part of the game. For those who want to start playing and happened to read this review. I strongly suggest to just play it without reading a walkthrough to recruit all the characters to force yourself recruit all characters in first playthrough, believe me it's not worth it and can make you not enjoying the game that much. Play it blind is the best way to experience it for the first time.
This game is a love letter to all the worst parts of classic RPGs. I bought this game day one on my PS5 and remember playing up till you unlock your base and realizing you have to back track EVERYWHERE with RANDOM encounters and I said to myself, "This, so far basic and been done before story, is not worth my time, along with needing to grind and waste time leveling just to get past story related battles that suck" and uninstalled and stopped playing. Fast forward to now, I have the chance to play again on PC using the family library and thought, "I'll get past that point and give it a chance". Then I got past that point and said, "Why the F*ck is their still no fast travel, I have to unlock these characters with little background development but maybe there's more???" So I kept going and saw something about how you can eventually(keyword) unlock something where you can actually learn more about the non story relevant characters. I trekked on and eventually got fast travel (like 15-20 hours in, are you f*cking serious?) and was excited to develop my base and unlock characters. I started to do so, and realized, one of the entire area's/blocks of the town development tree is contingent on you getting the Fisherman. Doesn't seem so bad, he just wants you to get a specific fish before joining you. Problem? That fish is a rare spawn, in a hidden/not obvious fishing spawn(s), and when it bites you have, and I'm not kidding, a .25-ish second chance to click to catch it... A been done before basic story(up till when I stopped playing), no real(non obvious) twists or turns 20 hours in, very poor pacing, haven't even unlocked the interesting thing that makes the 100 HERO'S-THE THING THE GAME IS TITLED AFTER-worth getting, blocking aspects of the game behind ridiculous skill(patience) checks, an absolutely sh*t menu, and just an absurd amount of repetition make this a clear pass. I've never been so disappointed in something. It's literally like the Devs said, "Let's take all the nostalgia and WORST parts of RPG's and put it all into one and not modernize it and make it accessible, AT ALL."
Okay, so here's the deal, if you're looking for a solid RPG reminiscent of Suikoden, this is it, but try to keep an open mind, and remind yourself that this ISN'T Suikoden, Eiyuden is its own game, with it's own ideas, while borrowing a few things from Suikoden. I think that a lot of people went into this expecting another Suikoden, and not an original title, and were left disappointed. That being said, the story is okay'ish, the writing is decent, there's a few funny lines, and a few really bizarre choices, but all in all it's a pretty good RPG, with a ton to do. The sprites look amazing, and you can tell this game was made with love. It also has a lot of side stuff to keep you busy as well, when you're not working on progressing the main story. Now, here's my beef with it...if you are someone who enjoys collecting achievements, this game will make you want to gouge your eyes out, and question what you're doing with your life, due to the sheer amount of repetitiveness. It does NOT respect your time, even in the slightest, between doing the same monotonous thing 120 times, tapping a button, and RNG related tasks it's a nightmare. So if you're not a big achievement hunter, it's worth the ride! ...if you are, don't say I didn't warn you if you decide to pick it up.
