Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 10 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I actually really enjoyed this game, despite a few minor flaws. While the dubbing and localisation leave something to be desired, the core gameplay mechanics are engaging and easy to pick up. Visually, I found it beautiful and atmospheric, though I understand why the art style might not appeal to everyone. Many reviews seem disappointed that this isn’t Suikoden II, and while that’s true, it doesn’t need to be. It offers a unique and enjoyable experience that shares some similarities with Suikoden, but also stands on its own. If you’re after a laid-back JRPG, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try, especially when it’s on sale. I picked it up for around $30 and felt it was well worth it. Edit: why is so much of the last story chapter missing audio, it's incredibly jarring and weird compared to most of the game being voiced, having sound effects etc.

풀더빙 GOOD 사운드 GOOD 액션 연출 GOOD 스토리 NOT BAD 그 외 WORST 당신이 고전JRPG 팬이 아니라면 당장 제외하기를 눌러라.
Fantastic JRPG. As many have said if you're a fan of Suikoden this really scratches that ich. A bit expected story. Loved the music and old school gameplay.
Achievement Completed: 100% Score: 7.5/10 After clocking in the final achievements (25+ hours of post-game cleanup), I’m ready to share my thoughts. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a decent JRPG, but as a Suikoden veteran, I felt it leaned a bit too heavily on nostalgia. If I didn’t know the dev team's history, I would have mistaken this for a high-effort fan game; it mirrors Suikoden II closely, yet often feels like a "watered-down" version of that masterpiece. Pros: + Visuals: Gorgeous 2.5D graphics. The art direction and sprite work are genuinely beautiful. + Atmosphere: It captures that unmistakable "classic JRPG" soul perfectly. + Music: The soundtracks are phenomenal. The battle music and the main themes are beautiful. The dynamic castle BGM that layers in new instruments as you level up your base is a brilliant touch. Cons: - Gimmick Overload: Too much focus on mini-games and chores. For completionists, some achievements may feel like a slog (some are grindy, and others are RNG reliant), and it feels like the main story was shortened to make room for them. - Lackluster Antagonist: The main villain is "meh"—neither truly threatening nor sympathetic enough to be memorable. - Character Tropes: Many plots and characters feel like slightly pale imitations of the classic Suikoden archetypes. For example, Suikoden fans will spot the "budget" versions of Nanami, Jowy, Anabelle, Viki, Sierra, Luca Blight and/or the City-States vs Highland conflict immediately. If any other developer had made this, it would feel like rip-offs rather than homages. Verdict: It’s not a bad game, but it’s not the masterpiece I hoped for. However, there is enough unexplored lore here to make me hopeful for a sequel. Just as Suikoden II eclipsed the first Suikoden, I want to believe we would get Eiyuden II, and it will be the one to truly shine. Edit: I've just found out that the bad ending is somewhat more impactful that the good ending. So, I recommend to play without necessarily recruit all the heroes first to enjoy the best experience. Get the best ending on the New Game +.
Well, as a suikoden fan, I think this game is the true successor of that series. Though, the game design and QoL are almost the same as a PS2-era games. Don't mind it, still like it, would replayed again! 👍
Insanely grindy game and not in a good way. To get the good ending, you "for some less than intelligent" reasons, you have to play their boring, pathetic, disgusting, poorly designed brain rot of a mini game - fake Pokémon. If they actually bother to made that good, it isn't a problem, but that is seriously one of the most lazy, mind destroying piece of garbage this world has seen. Take everything that is good about Pokémon, remove them, then add in the worst thing you can find in your local garbage dump, mix in with the refuse from your local kebab shop and ferment with your local night club toilets with gone off fish. That is close but still not quite as bad as what they manage to make. You can't help but think that you have done some serious war crime to deserve playing that. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy, seriously, not even war criminal deserved this. Please, save yourself and do not play this game because of that. Otherwise, okay good game.
To whoever's bright idea was it to make the chests a random encounter and the recipies a 10% chance of showing up in the store. I hope a coconut falls on your head
I'm fine with the spiritual successor vibe, but a lot of the characters just stop and don't even contribute past their voiced lines. It tried so hard to be Suikoden that it doesn't try to do anything for itself. There was a lot of potential here, and we're given DLC to expand on it when I'd rather get the story and experience for the base cost. Got it on sale, and still not pleased with the grind and need to auto battle my way through the game.
