About
Echoes of Mystralia is a roguelite action-RPG where memory is power. Craft your own spells, refine your tactics, and carve your path through a world trapped in the horrors of its past.
Play as Mazarim, a Watcher tasked with protecting the Cycle of Memories. Explore the lands of Mystralia, meet its lost souls, and face the Shadows of the Past. Will you save the World’s Memory before it disappears into the Rift?
Thunderbursts, freezing tornadoes, fire vortices. If you can imagine it, you can craft it. Memories are your only weapon against the Shadows of the Past. Combine them, reorder them, and watch your spell take shape right in front of you.
Discover a world haunted by its past, where people are reliving the horrors of their own history. Every path has its challenges, its encounters, and its rewards. And your journey is yours to command.
Every journey ends with a return to the Azimuth Temple. Up there, Watchers can develop their skills, change their combat approach, or simply enjoy the pearls of wisdom of a millennia-old dragon.
A Rift has opened in the Cycle of Memories. As a Watcher, it falls to you to save the World’s Memory. Divinities, primordial Guardians, and peoples scarred by war and exploitation: a vast world unfolds before you. Only you can uncover its hidden truths.

cool game
The game is pretty good for an early access. It has potential and it combines the good stuff from other succesfull games and make new fresh ideas. But there is one thing that frustrates me the most and it is the reason I leave a negative review. There are optimazation issues that must be adressed immedietly. There is stattering and frame drom spikes during combat. And when the games becomes more demanding, fast and hectic this becomes a problem. Until its fixed my review remains negative. But please keep up the good work. The negative review is more of incentive.

I came into this game with no real expectations. I’ve tried a lot of Hades‑style roguelites, and very few manage to grab me with both uniqueness and replayability. This one did — hard. I seriously can’t stop playing. Every run makes me want to try a new spell combo just to see what wild build I can come up with next. The difficulty hits a sweet spot, the spell crafting is deep without being overwhelming, and the visuals are gorgeous. A few things I’d love to see improved: Better visual cues for certain enemy attacks (looking at you, trident guys in areas 3/4). Frame drops when using spell builds with tons of projectiles. The Home Base feels a bit empty — more interactive features would help a lot. A higher post‑game difficulty option. More variety in boss move sets to keep runs feeling fresh. Even with those nitpicks, I’d recommend this game in a heartbeat to anyone who enjoyed Hades. I’m hyped to see where the devs take it next. Totally worth the price.
The Best $20 I've Spent in a Long Time: It is sad seeing people claim this game is only worth half its price. For $20, this is the closest a game has come to giving me the exact same thrills and chills as Hades 2, but with even more freedom. I have put in over 8 hours so far across 8 runs, and every single run has had a totally different outcome. In Hades 2, it is very easy to recreate the exact same build over and over, but the spellcrafting system here offers top-tier creativity and endless possibilities. Art, Audio & Presentation: The presentation is phenomenal. The art style is amazing, the music is beautiful, and the characters are awesome. On top of that, the game has fantastic voice acting; something you do not always see at this price point. How anyone can sit here, play this, and think it is only worth $10 is beyond me; I guarantee those same people leave 5-star reviews on Call of Duty. The Gameplay & Spells: Crafting your own magic is an absolute blast, but since the game is still in Early Access, there is room for the combat loop to evolve. It would be amazing to see a new unique button for an ultimate form, an ultimate move, or a special Cast button for other types of magic (similar to the Omega Cast in Hades 2 where you can trap or slow enemies). Adding something like this would ensure the game does not just feel like you are dodging and pressing the same two buttons. Constructive Feedback for the Devs: While I am totally fine with the difficulty, there are a few balancing tweaks that would make the gameplay much smoother, especially for newcomers: Invincibility Frames: There needs to be some sort of invincibility after getting hit. Right now, you die way too quickly. I was once hit by three enemies at the exact same time and instantly died. Getting staggered and one-shot is too easy right now, even if you are being careful. Visual Clutter: With all the magic going off, it can be very hard to see enemy attacks, which results in taking massive damage from multiple enemies at once. I absolutely love the look of the magic and it's BEAUTIFUL, but sometimes I just cannot see through all of the magic and enemies Enemy Shields: Some normal, non-boss enemies have shields that feel completely unbreakable, even when I am running an insanely heavy, high-damage spell build. Toning down these overpowered regular enemies just a bit would keep the runs feeling fair. Final Verdict: This game has been a phenomenal experience, and they are building something genuinely special here. It has the potential to stand right alongside the giants like Hades, or even be better. Please give this game a shot and support the developers. They are listening, they are updating the game, and I do not want to see another talented development team give up. Keep up the amazing work!
Can't recommend a purchase at this point of the game development for this price point. Game is solid, but it is too short, and no reason to repeat the gameplay loop to unlock all those (incredibly overpriced) meta-progressions when you can beat it without unlocking any of it. Some games the loop is fun enough to do just that, this feels too spammy and erratic to justify the repeated playthrough when the end of run feels so close to the start. Wish i could give it a half thumb or something, cause it IS enjoyable, just can't justify the price.
