This game could have been so good, takes forever to play one round of golf, constantly loading up some ads about what tournament you are in. also you have no control over where you are shooting even though you nail the shot perfectly. It's just an AI game you are not playing EA Sport is playing for you. Sad to say game play is terrible, slight miss left or right and you go way left or way right and putting is horrible. You are on the fringe and you can't choose to use the putter and on the fairway you cant use the driver you are stuck playing the clubs you don't want.
This is the first Golf game I've ever played, so I'm not sure if they're all a glitchy nightmare, but this one certainly is.

UI is a nightmare, I can't send out game invites or join my friend. It also keeps switching from gamepad UI to keyboard and mouse, BUT I CANT SWITCH BACK, I'M STUCK IN IT, EVEN THOUGH MY GAMEPAD CONTROLS WORK I STILL CANT SWING THE GOLF CLUB CAUSE "YOU'RE USING KEYBOARD AND MOUSE SCHEME, THESE CONTROLS ARE ONLY FOR GAMEPAD" WHAT? I AM USING A GAMEPAD! Refunded as it wont be fixed according to other reviewers, seems abandoned.
I’m truly disappointed by this game. I only bought it to access the wider range of licensed players and prestigious courses and it’s obvious that’s where all the money went. The graphics and course textures are totally unacceptable for a modern golf game. Large areas look flat, dated and lifeless. The gameplay itself is not intuitive and never really feels satisfying or natural. I paid £6 for this and even at that price I’m requesting a refund. That says it all. I’ve been playing PGA Tour 2K25. It may not have all the licences, but it is far better in terms of feel, swing mechanics and overall enjoyment.
may be a dead game but I got it on sale and it's a lot more realistic feeling of a game than the 2k series. haven't tried 2k25 myself but hard to believe it's worth like 75 bucks on that when i got this for 20
This is a BUNGLED MESS. One of the worst ports I have EVER played. They are so incompetent, the controls for PC KEYBOARD are A,B,X,Y, up down left right. It hiccups at every character selection. It selects things you didn't click. The state of EA is just sad. This game is 2 years old, and it runs worse than PUBG on it's first day. If the menu runs like this, I'm not even bothering entering a match.
Clunky menus, too many pauses/things to fast fwd between shots, shot mechanics are overly finicky when forced on controller, uber inconsistent green behavior etc. Have a half dozen PGA golf games, this is most frustrating and the one I've had the least fun with. One positive, great graphics.
Do not buy this game not even if it is on sale you will spend more time trying to reconnect to servers than actually playing the game and no one is doing anything to try and fix this problem
Im shocked that you cant play the Career mode offline as the internet disconnects sometimes. The game is fine, its fun and quite difficult at the same time to get the perfect stroke right. Which makes the game interesting and challenging. But you cant play career mode offline? Listen....its not going to stop piracy, ok?
PGA Tour è un gioco di golf con la G maiuscola, prodotto ottimizzato alla grande, grafica e sonoro, settabili nei minimi particolari, sono perfetti, il gameplay è curatissimo in ogni minimo dettaglio: vento, pendenze, effetti ed equipaggiamento e chi più ne ha più ne metta. Vi aspettano una moltitudine di tornei da affrontare, sia in modalità single player che in PvP, la carriera è la modalità che preferisco su tutte, affrontarla in modalità pro è arduo. Le imperfezioni riscontrate sono le seguenti: A) Non è stato distribuito in lingua italiana, frustrante vedere la nostra madrelingua snobbata di sovente. B) Per giocare è necessario possedere un gamepad e per non soffrire la nuova modalità di tiro, che trovo macchinosa e poco precisa, consiglio di settare lo swing in modalità tre tocchi. Nel complesso è probabilmente il titolo migliore da acquistare per chi ama giocare a golf. Mi sono cimentato con le 18(+9) buche del Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, che nel 2023 ha ospitato la Ryder Cup, ed è stato suggestivo vedere un posto che già conosco e che dista a 20 minuti di auto da casa mia. Che il double bogey sia con voi. Promosso a pieni voti.
