Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
It’s been 20 years since the events of the original game. The virus won, and humanity is slowly dying. You play as Aiden Caldwell, a wandering Pilgrim who delivers goods, brings news, and connects the few remaining survivor settlements in barren lands devastated by the zombie virus. However, your true goal is to find your little sister Mia, who you left behind as a kid to escape Dr. Waltz's torturous experiments. Haunted by the past, you eventually make the decision to confront it when you learn that Mia may still be alive in Villedor — the last city standing on Earth.
You quickly find yourself in a settlement torn by conflict. You’ll need to engage in creative and gory combat, so hone your skills to defeat hordes of zombies and make allies. Roam the city, free run across Villedor’s buildings and rooftops in search of loot in remote areas, and be wary of the night. With every sunset, monsters take control of the streets.
Fifteen years ago, humanity was devastated by the Fall — a catastrophic event that would change the world forever. With the Harran virus spreading around the globe, people quickly found out that all hope for tomorrow is lost. By 2036, only a few settlements remain, and humanity is slowly dying, making way for the new species out there — a horde of relentless zombies.
Welcome to Villedor, one of the last bastions of humanity. During the day, survivors still try to have a life here and find a false sense of normalcy. Relationships are formed, dreams are dreamed, and life carries on. On the surface, everything seems… fine. Until sunset, that is. With the last ray of light dying out, other, more dreadful, dwellers of The City crawl out of their gloomy interiors, taking over the streets. If you are not vigilant and stay out too long in the dark, you may never return.
Not all fights can be won. Sometimes it’s best to run and, thankfully, you have the skills for it. Parkour lets you escape when odds are not in your favor. Jump from rooftop to rooftop, swing across the cityscape, ride ziplines, and much more. Whatever you do, experience a unique sense of freedom as you freerun across Villedor’s buildings and rooftops in search of loot or while running away from the dangers of the night.
In a world as dangerous as this one, only the strongest survive. Whether you prefer to smash, slice or dismember those who stand in your way, you have to be creative about it to make it through. And who says you need weapons? Utilize the entirety of your parkour moveset to get the jump on your enemies. Learn the ways of combat and parkour to feel the crunch of skulls and slices of flesh as you swing weapons or use your moves to fend off any forms of danger. And let’s not forget that Villedor has weapons that put the most advanced post-apocalyptic armories to shame.
Surviving in Villedor is easier with friends. Team up with up to 3 other players and increase your chances out there. Unravel the story together, take on Pilgrim Outpost challenges, or simply wreak havoc on the city streets.

Yoruldum mk...

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best PL #51, worst DE #100 · 7 markets collected
Of the 2 markets with a position on both sides, 2 climbed and 0 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 27.75/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 64.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The vibe of this game is definitely better than the one in the first game. Also, the missions are classic Dying Light, where you do others' dirty work, and I have to say that the graphics and the map in this game are so beautiful. The combat seems smoother and overall, it is a good upgrade to the first game. If you are a fan of DL and you want more of DL, then this is worth buying. Even if you have never played DL, it is okay to start with the second game because the story is different and i'm sure you will enjoy it.
It's a good game with some cool stuff, but it's still mid. I wish they had given us the E3 2019 version instead.
Dying Light 2: Stay with the Kunai
Dying Light 2 is a definitive step down from the first game
A little disclaimer, I DID enjoy my time with DL2 but I can't for the life of me give a positive Review to a SEQUEL that is worse in every way possible from its predecessor. There IS a lot to like here and it is worth it on a steep sale. The game has come a long way since the updates. Zombie parkour is the name of the game and you get pretty much what you see. In all of its wacky buggy glory. The atmosphere, while a bit weaker than DL1, remains one of the strongest parts of the game, the sounds, the beautiful post apocalyptic city, the absolute pitch black of the nights (with the right settings). It is fun to experience, until the game bombards you with alerts and screams because of a chase, your immunity dropping, changing from day to night. It's not as if there are ways to look at those things in-game, you have to have 50 alerts letting you know. Not too big of an issue however. Those alerts are part of a reason a staple mechanic of Dying Light has been absolutely gutted. The nights. In DL1 nights were terrifying. You started a chase and it all felt organic, other roaming volatiles joined in on the hunt and you could hide even outside of safe zones to escape, in two volatiles have been reduced to a normal special infected, there's a couple of roamers and the moment they see you more instantly spawn close to you and keep spawning until you get to a safe zone. It is the antithesis of organic, between the spawns and the alerts, you are constantly notified that you are in this "mode" now. It is not immersive in the slightest. Neither is the AI of this game, sure they are zombies but they will behave odd for no reason at all. Runners leave and come back constantly, especially during the day, the infighting between humans and zombies will stop if you are too close and of course, they get stuck everywhere. It's not as bad as to be "broken" but it's a far cry from DL1. Which is more than I can say about the parkour. It's not bad, even satisfying at times but it feels so floaty in comparison to DL1, the parkour itself works even still but the map design isn't doing it any favors. The Bazaar is extremely satisfying, since it's small and well designed. Truly a joy to traverse however Villedor the cracks start to show. The city is made for the glider but the glider is pretty boring. Once you start using it getting from point A to point B suddenly becomes a bore and it's not like you have another choice, the city is designed around it (especially the eastern / center part where you are going to be spending most of your time) , not leaving a lot of options for good old fashioned parkour. The physics system is also not as good as the first games but after countless of updates it's fun enough, guns are much improved this time around, they actually feel good to use, not that you will be finding many of them if you just focus on the story... The story... it was never Dying Lights strong suit, even though the Following was a vast improvement, here it regresses again. There's some pretty fun sidequests with some genuine twists and turns, however the main story is so... mundane. There just isn't enough time to flesh it out since it's over before you know it. All of the hours in this game come from side content and activities, which there is A LOT OF and a lot of it is great and fleshed out but the main story is so short and dull in comparison. Overall, a decent game with tons of content, I love parkour and I love me some good zombie killing which is why I stuck with it, if you are into parkour and zombies it scratches the itch, recommended you go through DL1 first and then if you are not fatigued by the time you are done, you can pull the trigger on this but I cannot by principle recommend it when it was a downgrade in every way.
This is my favorite Dying Light game, but the changes—like adding a cash shop, gutting the prologue, and forcing infinite stamina into the game with no toggle—made the game less enjoyable for me. Thankfully, mods fix most of these problems, but I can’t leave a good review when I hate the direction I see things going.
