I want to be upfront: I came into Farming Simulator 19 as a skeptic. "It's just driving a tractor," I said. My wife said something too, but I couldn't hear her over the sound of my Claas Lexion 8900 harvesting 47 acres of canola at peak efficiency. She took the kids. FS19 is deceptively deep. What starts as plowing a single field quietly becomes a sprawling agricultural empire spanning multiple maps, three crop rotations, and a livestock operation that honestly demands more of your time than any family ever should. The 300+ officially licensed machines are rendered in stunning detail — detail I now have plenty of time to appreciate. My evenings are mine again. No more "can we watch a movie" or "dad, help with homework." Just me, a Fendt 1050, and the meditative hum of a field being prepped for winter wheat. The dog stayed. He watches the screen now. He gets it. The community mods are where this game truly shines. Seasons mod, realistic economy, dynamic soil — there's always something to optimize, always a reason to stay up until 2am fine-tuning your fertilizer schedule. My ex said I was "emotionally unavailable." I prefer "agronomically committed." If you enjoy open-world sandboxes, management sims, or the quiet dignity of a man alone on a virtual farm at midnight eating cereal out of the box, this is the game for you. 10/10 — The combine never leaves.

Die Auswahl an Mods war riesig: neue Karten, Maschinen, Skripte, Quality‑of‑Life‑Verbesserungen.
This game offers a surprisingly deep and detailed look into the world of farming. The amount of effort put into recreating real farming equipment, crops, techniques, and production chains is impressive. As someone who knew very little about agriculture beforehand, I found myself learning quite a bit simply by playing. The attention to detail is both the game's greatest strength and its biggest weakness. While it succeeds in creating an authentic farming experience, that authenticity also means spending a lot of time performing routine tasks. After the initial novelty wears off, the gameplay can become repetitive, with many activities feeling like variations of the same work cycle. Overall, it's an impressive simulation that excels at teaching players about modern farming and providing a realistic experience. Whether you enjoy it long-term will largely depend on how much satisfaction you get from the slow, methodical nature of agricultural work.

Farming Simulator 19 is one of those games that slowly becomes a huge part of your gaming life without you really noticing it. You start out with a small farm and basic equipment, just trying things out, and before long you’re managing huge fields, expensive machines and a full farming operation. With over 1712.9 hours played, it clearly shows how deep and addictive the game is. What makes it so enjoyable is the freedom and progression. You decide everything yourself, from what crops to grow, which machines to buy, and how to expand your farm. Every successful harvest feels rewarding because you actually built it up from nothing. The gameplay loop is calm but very satisfying. Driving tractors, planting, harvesting and managing your land creates a relaxing rhythm that you can get lost in for hours. It’s not a stressful game, but it still always gives you something to improve or work toward. The attention to detail in machinery and farming systems makes it feel realistic and immersive. You don’t just play a farmer, you actually feel like you are running a real farm. Rating 10 out of 10 A relaxing, deep and highly addictive simulation that turns farming into something you never get tired of.
This was my 2nd game I’ve had on steam and one of my favorite games yet. Even though it’s 8 years old I still one of the best FS games. With the best maps and starting music. I give it, 10/10 •Also as of this review it’s on deal for 12 bucks
19 is worlds better than 22 or 25. i wouldn't waste my money on those and just get and stay with 19
