This Game is not bad, nor good. i wish i could put this as a positive . But the negitives outweigh the positive more than id like. to start off i will say ive 100% this game twice. the first on the quest 3 a good couple of years back and i enjoyed it, but thats because i was rather uncaring for plot devices or logical reasoning compared just to a game about killing zombies. now that ive gotten older i realize how bad this game is sadly. to start from the earliest possible point. The transfer system . Now i find it important to bring up the fact that this is a good thing. especially with the fact this game falls into the ""glorified DLC" route. Now you can import youre old save from the first game but the huge huge problem i have with this is youre actions dont track aswell? now i get that having it does would cause trouble for players that start playing chapter 2, but i feel that the story so HEAVILY depends on you being a MONSTER in the first game . Derik the big bad wolf just does not care no matter what you do at all. even worse is the fact shes seen ALIVE in the intro cutscene of the game, which also shows casey dead as hell. which tbf in the first game theres really no ""good" ending just slightly better endings. Anywho and of course i get siding with the tower in the original would lead to them being like "yeah we need to kill this tourist person their kinda a prob " but even so i feel it couldve had some kind of impact on the story, and the reclaimed are barely even a problem anymore seeing their base of operations is reduced to the rampart grounds . so just kinda dissapointing for the old save to be nothing more than a crap ton of materials and weapons .also i have a feeling this was meant to be a dlc? only because 1 the tutorial is the exact same and 2 some of the tips talk about an unseen "'trial"" mode it could and most likely be talking about the TWD SAS mode from the first game that isint present in the second at all? tbh would be cool if that was a thing . And i think the final point id just like to talk about is the weapon to kill Gerik.you clearly need fire power as everyone claims to take down this huge armored dude but in the end it just does nothing? you end up making tree bombs he used to blow a demolition man to smitherines so just overall cool you get a grenade launcher but ultimetly a usless poin to the whole story. i could go on for a while but the more i think about all the suffering i went through i just kinda realise it was all just so... mpt worth it. in the end irs a fun game but couldve been a dlc

I'm usually one to postively rate VR games since it's such a small space. However, there are serious game breaking bugs present. On the 3rd level, the game kept crashing on the disc insertion part. I replayed the entire level 5 times (going through the entire level every single time) before I just gave up on this game
Still absolute buggy garbage "DLC" 3.5 years after release. Bad launch and lack of fix implementation is why I avoided this for so long and never bother with Behemoth. I couldn't resist a dirt cheap sale to finally try this. I miss those 5 bucks. Game crashes immediately near bus after first mission and can't progress, and I can't find anything online about this. Avoid this crap game and crap dev.
game is very broken cant even get out of the menu thats how broken it is
WARNING!!! This game has few options for Quest 3 controllers and none of them are good. There is no built in Quest 3 controller support, and since Quest HMDs are the vast majority of Steam VR users, that means right now this game is just a bunch of pathetic flaming trash that the devs should be embarrassed to put their name on. Lucky I bought the PSVR2 version as well so I can always play it over there on a properly supported format.
This game gameplaywise is an upgrade from it's previous iteration. The new quests are a welcome addition, as they're a little more than the fetch quest fest that was the last game. The new weapons are also welcome, as well as the new maps. The problems lie in the fact that this game is BUGGY. This game breaks more often than than any early access game should, AND IT'S BEEN FULLY RELEASED FOR OVER 3 YEARS!! I'm sure the people who developed this game didn't want to leave it in this state, but were forced to. I see no other way that something like this could happen I cannot recommend buying a broken product.
"Good luck Tourist, you're sure as hell going to need it." - Henri Lafayette I already sank countless hours into the series on Quest, so when I saw The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution on PCVR for cheap, picking it up was an easy decision. After 25 hours and nearly a full achievement completion, I can confidently say it was money well spent. The core gameplay is still some of the best VR has to offer. The physics-based combat remains satisfying, scavenging is addictive, and New Orleans is as tense and atmospheric as ever. If you enjoyed the first game, Retribution delivers more of what made the original great while expanding the sandbox with new weapons, locations, and encounters. Along with my favorite addition of traversing NOLA during the night time. What really surprised me on PCVR, though, is the modding scene. Mods breathe new life into the game long after the main story is finished. Whether it's gameplay tweaks, custom weapons, challenge runs, or outright chaos, the community has created plenty of reasons to keep coming back. It adds a level of replayability that simply wasn't available on standalone Quest. Sadly other negative reviews shouldn't be ignored, the optimiziation is godawful however that wasn't significant enough to ruin the experience for me. The atmosphere, combat, progression, and freedom of approach more than makes up for the occasional hiccup. The game is still in a much better state than release or the quest version, not to mention any other problems can simply be fixed by the modding scene. For $10, this feels like an absolute steal. If you're a VR fan, a zombie survival enthusiast, or someone who loved the first Saints & Sinners, it's an easy recommendation.
good game, lags even though it's aged. amazing story, fun guns, cool physics, little to no known bugs, 9/10 will be finishing story.
broken
Such a broken buggy POS. The devs are incompetent AF. Waste of money for anybody thinking of purchasing.
