A Good Story with SUPER repetitive Gameplay. Honestly though, LOVE this story. almost wish for a sequel.
For the game who make by one person, it is actually very well made game. Not a masterpiece but just a moderate gameplay with ok story. Playing hard difficulty is highly recommend or else it will quite unchallenging on some fight. Looking for Dust sequel....if only the dev still want to make it

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
99% PERFEITO 1% FURRY
This game feels more about the art than the game

The hand-painted background art creates a visual feast that holds up years later.
Soundtrack delivers an emotional punch that elevates the simple narrative.
It functions as a complete package with no DLC fragmentation.
The Bad:

The dialogue leans heavily into melodramatic, early-2000s tropes.
Late-game difficulty scaling is trivialized by basic stat-padding.
Backtracking for 100% completion can feel like busywork.
Purchase Strategy:

Enthusiast: Instant Buy. It remains a gold standard for 2D combat flow and costs less than a fast-food lunch.
Casual: Wishlist for Sale. Unlike slower, methodical platformers, this game wants you airborne and aggressive. You utilize the Dust Storm mechanic—spinning your blade like a turbine—to suction enemies into a vortex, then mix in Fidget's projectiles to trigger massive chain-reactions. It rewards rhythmic inputs and dodge-canceling rather than button mashing. The screen fills with damage numbers and particles, scratching that chaotic itch usually reserved for high-octane spectacle fighters, but it remains readable enough to maintain control. The Context This title sits in the lineage of Vanillaware classics like Muramasa: The Demon Blade, prioritizing visual splendor and fluid combat over the punishment of a Hollow Knight. It represents a specific era of indie development where a single creator (Dean Dodrill) managed to output fidelity rivaling full studios. While modern Metroidvanias have shifted toward Souls-like tension and corpse-runs, this game remembers that sometimes it is fun to just be an overpowered storm of destruction. The Friction The narrative presentation is the primary filter. The story takes itself incredibly seriously, often clashing with the bright, Saturday-morning-cartoon aesthetic. If you prefer the subtle environmental storytelling of Hyper Light Drifter, the frequent cutscenes and melodramatic voice acting here might test your patience. Additionally, the RPG layer is thin; once you understand the damage scaling, you can accidentally trivialize boss encounters, turning them from skill checks into brief cutscene interruptions. The Bottom Line A stunning example of passion-project development that remains one of the most fluid action-RPGs on the platform.

Found your next obsession? Be a furry, do crazy moves, experience a great story. Art is awesome and gameplay is flawless. Probably the most underrated game ever and I want to replay it at least once a year.
It's a fun 2D action RPG with Metroidvania elements, a beautiful art style and an engaging story. A bonus is that it has a cool combat system that's perfect for fans of character action games like Devil May Cry. Highly recommend.
I loved every moment of this game. Sure there were times where my inputs were feeling a bit sluggish, but that could be on my end. Overall, I wanna state that despite the game being a bit of an old'y, but not old, it still was as good as when I first played it on the 360. I would rate this game a solid 8.5/10. Wish they made some sort of sequel of the game or something about it. Seeing the voice acting cast and seeing how some are doing bigger things now makes me happy to see to.
