Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Lo jugué poco y pinta interesante. Es como un DOOM de la vieja escuela algo modernizado.

I did not expect a game that looks like it was made in 1996 to be one of the most viscerally satisfying shooters I have ever played in my life. And yet here we are. Let me tell you about the moment DUSK grabbed me by the collar and refused to let go. It was maybe twenty minutes into the first episode. I had just picked up the dual shotguns, blasted through a group of cultists who were definitely up to no good, snagged a ring that let me walk on walls, and proceeded to run sideways across a vertical surface while unloading buckshot into the face of something that should not exist. The game was running at a silky smooth framerate, the soundtrack was screaming metal directly into my skull, and every single gunshot felt like it had physical weight behind it. I paused for a second and thought "this game understands something that most modern shooters have completely forgotten." DUSK is a love letter to the golden age of PC shooters. We are talking Quake, Heretic, Blood, Hexen, that whole era when shooters were fast and mean and didn't care even slightly about making you feel comfortable. David Szymanski, the one man behind this entire game, clearly grew up eating those games for breakfast and decided to distill everything that made them great into a single package. The result is something that feels simultaneously like nostalgia and like a brand new experience, which is an incredibly difficult balance to pull off and he pulls it off perfectly. The movement is where this game truly sings. DUSK is FAST. Not modern-game-character-jogs-at-a-decent-pace fast. We are talking about momentum-based, bunny-hopping, strafe-jumping, absolutely unhinged speed that rewards you for learning how the physics work and punishes you for standing still. Standing still in DUSK is basically a death wish. You are supposed to be constantly moving, constantly strafing, constantly using the environment to your advantage. Once you get into the flow of it, once your brain locks into that rhythm, there are very few gaming experiences that match it for pure kinetic satisfaction. The weapons are all fantastic and every single one of them has a purpose. The sickles you start with are for when you're feeling sadistic and want to get close. The shotguns are your bread and butter and they feel incredible. The riveter, the crossbow, the mortar, the hunting rifle, and then the things you find later that I won't spoil here. Each weapon has weight, each weapon has a satisfying sound design behind it, and the game does a great job of making you feel like every tool in your arsenal is worth keeping around. The level design deserves a standing ovation. This is old school design philosophy done right, which means levels are not linear corridors pointing you from A to B. They are interconnected spaces full of secrets, hidden routes, environmental hazards, and moments where you open a door and suddenly there are twelve enemies and your brain shifts into overdrive. Finding all the secrets is genuinely rewarding and the map design has a creativity to it that a lot of modern shooters with their massive budgets simply cannot match. And then there is Andrew Hulshult's soundtrack. Holy. Let me be clear that the music in this game is not background noise. It is fuel. It is an active participant in making every encounter feel enormous. There were moments where a track kicked in right as a fight escalated and I genuinely felt my heart rate go up. That is how good this soundtrack is. New Blood Interactive keeps releasing updates, the game has a horde mode, it has a surprisingly robust level editor, and the community around it is passionate and creative. For the price this game costs, the value is almost offensive. This is one of the best shooters on Steam, full stop, and if you have any affection for the era it draws from you owe it to yourself to play it immediately. RECOMMENDED.
