Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Old but gold
垃圾版本,缺少了经典的中文配音,效果大打折扣,不值得买! 2000年左右的版本尚且有完整中文配音及翻译,质量很高。

+You can have a pet in place of a companion later in the game +Cutscenes look really cool +There's a box where you can store your items +You can recruit a companion you recruited in your party before, at an inn =Companions scale with your level =Potions restore resources overtime and has no drinking animation =I can't grade the story because I got fed up at the start of act 2 -Game starts throwing overleveled enemies at you starting at about level 4 -Party limit starts at 2 and can only be brought up to 4-6 with gold depending on difficulty -The companions start out with split stats, despite the game telling you not to do it -Companions feel hollow and have no soul, despite having extra dialogue -Very few companions to chose from compared to the first game -Gold is very hard too earn compared to the first game -Potions are very expensive and have reduced healing or mana restoration -You return to the same confusing town many times (At least in act 1) -Hud icons are very small and hard to see -Confusing skill tree system compared to the first game (It's much easier to mess up your build and softlock yourself and there's no respec option) -Somehow worse music compared to the first game, excluding the music added from the first game -Enemies can be extremely tanky to a skill type or element -There is an enemy type that can steal your items or rare items that are dropped to the ground and vanish if you don't kill it in time -At least 1 melee, 1 range, 1 nature magic, and 1 combat mage character is required (Otherwise suffer more) -There is no reloading your game when you die. Instead, you respawn in town without your gear and the enemies respawn and you have to go get your gear, unless you pay someone gold Yeah, I'm sorry, but I actually find the second game inferior to the first. The 2nd game has too much bad game design for me to enjoy, thus find the 1st game to be better.

Coming here right after finishing Dungeon Siege 1, I saw right away why some people hated this one (and 3, which I'll try soon) and thus believed that the first game was the only good one. But I disagreed, for the hour or so I spent getting to the start of the forest area and really starting the game after a lengthy tutorial section, I was enthusiastic about the rest of the game. Sure, the combat is worse. Yes, there are as many poor design choices as there are good ones. But what I experienced by that point gave me hope. Then I kept going, and in the span of about 90 minutes more I grew to hate what Gas Powered Games made and unleashed upon the world. It plays like a really rough, early prototype of Dragon Age Origins (a game which I think is fantastic, to be clear), when it was still in the tech demo stage before any polishing had been done. It's also much, much harder than the first game. Enemies hit harder, combat animations are way faster (framerate issue, perhaps) and they removed nearly all of the automation that made the first game's horde of enemies approach manageable. You've either got to have superhuman reflexes or pause to issue orders every second or two, and even then you can still get screwed when the miniboss takes half your health before you can blink. In addition to this, there are a number of incredibly stupid design choices that make the game feel much worse than the first one and it runs worse too. I barely scratched the surface of this game, and I know that giving up this early and leaving a negative review isn't really fair, but I think the only way I could ever recommend this is if you played it as a kid and are excited to get it again and lose yourself in the world, or if you got the entire franchise bundle for a great sale price as I did and thought "yeah, I might as well try it."
