The combat is really good, yes, there is swap, but if you wait for the tag mechanic instead by doing an activation(Knockdown, Elemental Damage, Stun, Airborne, etc) to tag in your teammates you'll do more damage. The grind for power is done well and the characters are likeable enough. The world map and story is kind of bland, There are some cool moments in the story, but there isn't enough of that. It's a well done RPG. You'll be messing around with teams and grinding for a gear for a long time to try out new combinations.
i've played plenty of gatcha games and early on a mobile game ended up running away with a good chunk of my money. within the past year or so i got in to wuthering waves, which was an amazing game with amazing story and amazing characters. unfortunately i had to walk away from it not long after starting in. the temptation to collect the characters i wanted was strong, and the 50/50 garbage is completely unfair. i say all that because this game is exactly my kind of gatcha game. no gambling on characters i want, no missing out of time limited heroes, no buffed characters that define a new meta. everything is available to me whenever i get around to playing it. i've already got my thirty dollars out of this game even at only eight hours. i'm not too far out of the starting area. just exploring and enjoying the world. there are a ton of currencies and level up materials that i don't know what to do with yet, somewhat overwhelming, but because i'm still winning the fights i engage in (even ones with monsters higher level than me) i haven't felt the need to go look up what they all do. the story is light and funny. i find myself laughing at it quite often. i like games that don't take themselves too seriously and this is certainly one of them. just like most gatcha games the story is limited to a fairly linear path, but there is a ton of side content and lots of map to explore that you don't need the story for. i enjoy that i can just head off in a direction, solve little puzzles, kill monsters, and open chests without needing a direction. when i'm ready for more story i can find it easily and continue along it's path. as for the microtransactions, well they exist. i don't find them all that offensive, myself, because with other gatcha games when a person spends money they are gambling on what they are going to get. maybe they get nothing. maybe they lose to the 50/50. maybe they spend a month's worth of currency and still don't get what they were after. in this game, at least when you make a purchase you know exactly what you are getting for your money. at this time, all of the microtransactions are cosmetic only and i have no problem with that. if they start selling meta characters, well, maybe it'd be time to revisit this review. until then i'm happy with my purchase.
我支持这款游戏单纯是希望二游能走出一条新的路,虽然这大概率不可能。 希望制作组能考虑长期维护这款游戏,做一些内容型付费DLC。
Well i wanted to 100% this game first before giving it a review but this is such a tedious task to 100% each area, and the grind to have the best possible gear/upgrades is even more tedious. But overall i will recommend this game to those who love hack and slashs and even more to those who like anime. and i will not recommend this for those who are not a fan of a incomplete mediocre story and a tedious Grindy game. The Characters are vast and the personalities are interesting there are only 2 or 3 which are annoying. The Story is not completed yet which was disappointing and the second form of lute only happens twice i hoped it would be some sort of Ultimate. BUT WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ WHY BIND THE PROGRESS OF THE MOUNTS TO DLC'S?! AT LEAST BIND IT TO SOME SORT OF ACHIEVEMENT WHICH IS HARD TO GET AND SELL THEM TO THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO WASTE TIME! Positives: Stunning Enviroment Very addicting Combat Very nice complexity in builds / team compositions. Anime Boobs Impressive work for a 40 man Team. The Boss fights are really nice and varied. Neutral / Smaller Annoyances: Smaller Bugs / out of bounce clippings. Can't go back in difficulty more than one level to farm chests fast. Side Quests are very short, and everytime the same thing Get this carry it to destination and that 200+ Negatives: Mount progression is bound to DLC's Unfinished Main Quest For those who are completionist be ready for a boring Grind. Suggestions Quality of life improvements: Give me maps where all treasure maps are hidden. Make the Dragon mount ability available for non deluxe edition buyers. And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reduce the amount of sidequests or make them more interesting. will update this review with major updates and when i 100% this game at some point (wish me endurance...)
