Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best JP #19, worst KR #80 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
新玩家,只玩过11s,123重制。重制明显更有诚意,整体差不多感觉日长的回合制大概也就是这样了。比较大的问题是技能搭配局限性比较大
Beautiful art style, great voice acting and beautiful story. This game starts a bit slow in my personal experience, but once it pulls you in, it really pulls you in. Memorable characters, super fun combat, especially later in the game when you unlock certain new features, and amazingly made world that is connected in so many ways. Superb game, cant recommend enough.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.5/day in the week to Aug 5 → 3.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

我去,好好看的游戏。
beautiful art and environment design, unfortunately I can't say the same thing about the story and characters..
沒什麼毛病, 就內容太長, 要一直練功, 太花時間了
초반을 넘기니 간이 좀 맞네

디오라마 풍경 좋아요!
This reimagined version of Dragon Quest VII is the best way to experience this game, in my opinion. For context, previously I had played through pretty much every mainline DQ game aside from VII. The reason being, that while VII is fun, there are exhaustive mechanics for grinding and quite the meandering story. The result is one of the longest experiences I had with a JRPG where I didn't even get to the endgame. Cut to the release of this remaster. Much of the experience has been streamlined and optimized for a much better experience overall. While I have a part of me that wishes the extensive "monster class" system was still present, the changes made to class/job structure and benefits makes for a much better experience. Combine that with much of the excess fluff being pruned from the plot, and DQ VII becomes a fantastic game that I enjoyed beating. I will wear my bias on my sleeve and say that I would likely recommend most every Dragon Quest game if I could, as I think all of the series is good. But this, in particular, has been a much better experience than my previous attempts at playing through VII to such a degree that even without that bias, just comparing the two games individually I would almost always recommend this version over the 3DS version that I had played before. If you're new to these games... Play XI, or III or something like it. But this isn't a bad option, those are just the best and especially the best for newcomers. Now I just have to hope for a Zenithian trilogy remake on Steam. Maybe someday...
