Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Latest in each market: best JP #19, worst KR #80 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a Dragon Quest game made for the current generation of fans and players, rather than for old-school Dragon Quest veterans who liked their adventures long, punishing, and just a little humiliating while the Dragonlord watched from the corner. The game includes plenty of quality-of-life improvements that are honestly necessary by modern standards. Unfortunately, I can no longer see myself playing the original version of Dragon Quest VII. With a family, I simply do not have the time for it anymore, but this version is much more manageable. The graphics are genuinely fantastic. Even with all settings turned up, there is still some noticeable shadow pop-in, which can be quite distracting. The music is as excellent as ever, especially with the fully symphonic orchestral soundtrack. It is a shame that some content was removed, but it was probably necessary to keep the game accessible and reasonably paced. The achievements, on the other hand, are absolutely dreadful. The worst one is the achievement that requires you to collect every item. Some items are locked behind an incredibly childish memory minigame, and you have to grind quite a bit to obtain everything. I was fairly lucky and received the items I needed relatively quickly, but I have heard of people spending dozens of days trying to complete this part of the game. Aside from the achievements, which I would not recommend trying to complete in full, I can strongly recommend Dragon Quest VII Reimagined. If you are a die-hard Dragon Quest VII fan who is deeply attached to the PlayStation or 3DS version, you may be better off skipping this release. For anyone who has never played Dragon Quest VII before, however, this is an excellent version to get completely lost in.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.5/day in the week to Aug 5 → 3.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed it a lot. It can get a little grindy when trying to level up all of the classes, but then I was kind of OP for the battles. If you enjoy this type of game, I think you will enjoy it as well. I missed some achievements, but after the grinding I was ready to just finish it.
If you set resolution scale to Medium you can max out all other settings and get 90fps lock on OLED Deck. It does have the occasional stutter for some reason, but it isn't anywhere near max usage on any resource so idk what that's about. It has some customization of difficulty and from what I can tell there are no difficulty related achievements. I personally don't find spending 30+ minutes grinding every now and then as "challenge", it is just a timesink, and if there are difficulty options + no achievement for really "challenging" yourself (which in this case doing the hardest difficulty would be the challenge of having the patience to watch paint dry), then it really undermines my desire to do a traditional old-school grind. So I am playing on the Happy Medium setting and then I set gold rates to faster, which so far doesn't seem to be *much* faster, but I need to buy all the items in stores to get the all items achievement and grinding for gold is slower than grinding for adequate levels for an area it seems, so I wanted at least that faster. Not speeding up XP rates because I don't want to just oneshot everything either. Also part of the reason for wanting an accelerated pace is these sorts of games are already a decent time commitment and well, I can get bored of games pretty quickly these days. There are also WAY more games I have to find time to get to. It is not like the old days where having a major grind was, OK, I am getting more $/hour out of my game, and there weren't as many quality games to play... now it is more like doing a vacation thing where I am a tourist with most games these days. Or a tire kicker if you will. If you are even more casual than me you can make the game easier than the way I am playing it and so far finding it easier than other DQs I have played, if you want $/hour well you can put it on hard.
