A fairly good remaster of the original game on the Playstation, in my honest opinion. The intro sequence is quite a bit more streamlined and doesn't take 2 hours to get to the first fight. A few of the islands were cut as well but all in all the game still feels true to the original, even if it's quite a bit easier, especially with the options to customize the difficulty and increase xp/gold gain from monsters.
I have no problems with the game's content other than it has made some changes I don't agree with that deviate from the original game but the problem lies in that I am over 30 hours in and have had over 250 game crashes. Now I understand these things happen and have several workarounds to manage and fix the issues however after utilizing over 20 different methods from the basic to the extreme it still happens without any discernable pattern. I have been a PC gamer since before the internet existed lol and have had much experience making wonky games run. After spending 4 hours having to resort to A.I. and inputting everything that I have done and trying every suggestion it basically said it is happening because my PC is too beefy for the game and it causes error codes that sometimes even force a PC restart....I have an RTX 4090 and 63GB of RAM....it is not a supercomputer lolz. Square Enix needs to restaff because this kind of bs happens all the time with their games especially their ports, they suck at it.

Nice streamlined version of a PS one classic.
正统的王道jrpg，伙伴、勇者、魔王、拯救世界。 画风可爱，人物讨喜，转职兼职让战斗的可玩性还不错。重制版据说优化了原版流程，反正我全程的游玩体验很舒服。 这游戏的剧情是单元剧设计，每个岛屿对应一段独立的剧情，中后期才会有明显的剧情关联性。 总的来说，这部DQ7重制版让我挺满意的，希望SE用这种标准多多重制DQ。
중반부까지 평가는 적당한 탐험과 수집에 아주 높은 편의성으로 즐겁게 스토리를 즐길수있습니다. 특히 스토리가 참신하고 재밌어서 푹 빠져서 하게되네요~
I played this game back on the PS1 and enjoyed it enough, but I always thought that this was the weakest entry in the DQ numbered series. This remake, however, elevates it to a much higher level. So many of the gripes I had with the original version are fixed and there are a ton of QOL improvements, plus the OST is better and the voice acting (JP) is great! I recommend this to any DQ fan or RPG fan!

꾸역꾸역 해보려고 했는데.. 기본적으로 스토리가 너무 유치해서 없는것과 비등하거나 오히려 못하며 플레이의 재미 자체도 딱히 없는 듯. 빨리 판단하고 환불했어야 하는데 후회됨.
