Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Naprawdę dobra gra z nawet dobrą fabułą (i niepotrzebnym marvelowym humorem) ale słaby disciples.
+ Decent game, a variation of the Kings Bounty: The Legend kind of game with more emphasis on building you army and more variation of troops. (no stack of troops but up to 10 field units and 3 in the back.. makes for many intersting combinations to try out.. basically the best part of the game) + Graphics and sound/music is alright, only a few dialog lines have VO for no aparent reason + map design is alright, too many resource pile up already mid game with no apparent use (upgrades and recruiting is super cheap) + main char levels up and has different classes/skill trees to invest into, pretty great (much more elaborate than in Kings Bounty) + main char can use a ton of different items, that are basically just stat boni (pretty boring, missed opportunity for class specific boni or set boni) + other chars can have a single gem which gives a little damage, crit or initiative (adds to the army configuration fun which is okay, nothing to crazy) + the one and only city you have is basically your research hub, upgrade and recruit center (bare bones in terms of Kings Bounty/HoMM-game mechanic, more on the simple end here) The bad and ugly? - Story is as bland and as generic as it gets, could have been a 2019 chatgpt 2 output basically - Unlikeable main char (basically a stupid fem/butch/lesbian that has two topics: drinking and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything around - feels like this char was written by a 12-yo low IQ boy with the attention span and eloquence of a dayfly) - the idea of the author(s) to shove in "romance" in this game culminates in your main char to fornicate with every random creature that you meet around the world after one (or at most two) sentences. It's like the worst (and shortest) kind of sexting imaginable. Flat, dumb and meaningless. The first time in act 1 I thought that is some silly sex joke, but it keeps on and on with every other PC and NPC (at which point I just ignore all "heart" icon dialog choices to not cringe out hart every time

Not the worst sequel in old series, but certainly far from glorious revival. Disciples was an interesting twist on HOM&M formula, a lot of mechanics were similar - you had your town that could be built up with bunch of structures that improves economy, magic, units and map too had lots of places of interest - dungeons, treasures guarded by enemy forces etc. There also were neutral towns, that could be garrisoned after capture and use shop and healing. Combat and movement on map were turn based too - so same as in Heroes. But some things were quite different - there was a lot more engagement with plot - cutscenes during missions, more between them. There were no 999 stacks, emphasis was on development of units you had - they got exp and after reaching max lvl, if you had constructed necessary building, you could evolve it, some units had no improvements like that, but some could do it several times. Each faction had kinda their own specialty, some had multiple evolution melee, another mages, next one ranged. Oh, also combat in first 2 titles was done jrpg style - there was no movement around battlefield, just two sides taking turns, third game did include tactical field with maneuvres on its tiles. So - Liberation kinda continues with that, however maps have a LOT less places of interest and became kinda empty and small. Neutral towns and citadels are gone, your city is out there, became hub area that can be reached only via teleportation to it, which you could do at any moment, except for when in dungeon. Btw, dungeons here are small areas that prevent you from teleporting when inside, otherwise they have same enemy parties going around as outside. Your army size is increased, so you could take up to 10 units, 2 followers and have 3 backline supporters. Any unit has backline ability, so you could check which ones you want there, some deal dmg, some buff you or debuff enemy. Oh, unit evolution is gone, you can just lvl up them to max 80 lvl, same as your mc and followers. Getting someone besides 5 kinds per faction that are available in max lvled barracks in your hub city could only be done via random selection at marketplace, they refresh every hour, so hope for best. Unit art in first game was superb, really nice gothic style, 3d models in combat - not so much, second and third game went full 3d, so overall quality fell in my opinion, 3d improved ofc, but not to the level of 2d art awesomeness, they just got better, art that was transformed into 3d was trying to be gothic too, but alas. Liberation has much improved models, but pretty much all style and gothic darkness is gone, almost everything is generic with very very few pieces which could be considered stylised in spirit of series. Oh there are at least 1 or 2 2d arts placed in poor excuse for cutscenes that are close to level of old games. Sound went about same road as graphic compared to older games. Voice acting, combat noise, all that is very mediocre, and osts are just not worth remembering, except for one battle music that is clearly not like others even stylistically, no idea how it came to be like that. Plot unfortunately repeats destiny of visuals and audio - not only is it very generic, its execution via dialogs and cutscenes is just laughable. You could choose multiple choices in lots of talks - stuff like good\bad\neutral or the likes, but most of the time all of them end up being at level of some third rate old movie. Though it’s not like there aren’t any redeeming points, some story developments are not bad at all. Also there are smth like 10 sidequests on average per location (10 or so locations in total).
another game that should have never been built after the year 2000.

All of the pieces work. Fifty hours in and still engaged. Many battles and lots of opportunity to challenge yourself by fighting higher ranked teams.
