Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Läuft schrecklich auf inux . Daher nicht empfelenswert.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Other than the gender neutral bathrooms its good
Bought it for 6 Euros, and if google is right the story is about 15 hours. Thats a really good deal. Scary, Great atmosphere, cool story. For 60Euros? hell no, wait for a sale
A gameplay é simplesmente foda. E a ambientação?
Alright, I will be thorough in this review. I won't include any spoilers about the story, besides the setting. Meaning what the game is about at the end of the review. I will say some things about the games mechanics because I think that they may also help deciding whether or not to buy this game. Requirements: I would say that my Laptop is pretty decent (You can see them somewhere, though I don't know where tbh:). If you want to play this game with incredible graphics then I would recommend this game only to those who have a specific gaming pc or laptop. With my specs and the razer gaming software I was able to run this game at 100fps on medium graphic settings, which already made it very immersive. I do recommend playing the game on proper graphic settings as it just makes the mood so much better, as it is a horror game. If you wan't to feel the thrill of not knowing what's gonna be behind the next corner. But if you dont really care about that, sure, you can play the game on low graphic settings. Gameplay and story: In this game, you're in a futuristic world, where humanity has progressed in science and space travel is a thing now. There are a couple of factions: The Church of Unitology, A large Company (CEC) And the Earth Governmen. At first, you are just send to a space ship to do some repairs, buuut one thing leads to another and suddenly you're involved in something much deeper. You will go through the ship and complete various tasks and investigate the ongoings on the ship. And, of course, you kind of have to fight yourself through. What I really like about this game is that you don't just have your classic gun and thats it. I also thinks that other kinds of weapons are more realistic, seeing that a gun is not particularly safe in space. I played the game on medium difficulty and I'd say that it was challenging, but I think I would have preferred playing on hard, as I kind of just mowed through the enemies, half way though the game and I really like challenging combat. What I did experience in medium was that you can't just shoot as much as you want as ammunition for your weapons is sparse and you don't want to spend all of your (in-game) Money on buying new ammo. Just as sparse as ammo is healing. You either use a rare and expensive healing item, or you die. So thats another challenge. Even in late game money was still a proble and you had to be carefull how you spend it, if you want to buy the next VERY expensive armor as soon as you find what you need to unlock it in the shop. This kind of sounds like it was already pretty hard on medium, and yeah it was, but to everyone who likes a real challenge, I would recommend playing on hard. I would also recommend that, once you start playing, don't make to long breaks between each session as it takes some time to get used to all the ways you can destroy enemies. Cause you don't depend on your weapons alone. There are lots of things in the environment that you can and should also use, because one, you need to save ammo, and two, enemies are pretty tough, especially during the first couple of chapters of the game. 8Yeah, the game is divided into chapters). One thing I am no real fan of is backtracking that is not related to the story. Meaning that in order to get some more loot, like weapon upgrades, you have to go all the way back to another part of the ship. And the ship is HUGE. Which is good of course, and you do have a fast travel option that gets you to the general area. But then you have to navigate with a map that is sometimes hard to read, as it doesn't show whether an elevator goes up or down. So if you wan't to get to the 5th floor, you first have to find the right elevator again. In the games defense, you don't have to backtrack as the loot is optional for the story, but if you like achievements, which I do , veeeery much, than it kind of sucks. Then again, there isn't that much loot that you really have to backtrack for and a lot of it is unlocked through the story itself as you have to visit some areas multiple times, so I guess it's okayish. To return to the " don't make too long breaks between the session", before i finished the game, I had two previous runs that I just stopped playing at some points in the first half of the game, and when I wanted to return I had to start over as I was completely lost when I tried to get used to everything again. The run I finished took me about 18 hours. But as I played two other runs before I was a bit faster. So if you start playing at medium difficulty, I would say you have about 20 hours of fun untill you are finished. But one has to consider that I did finish every side quest and whenever I got to a new area I first looked everywhere but where the story wanted me to look. So if you're not that interested in side quests and finding every little bit of loot, then I guess you have about 12-15 hours on medium difficulty. But I would recommend inspecting every part of the ship and every little corner, as the game does an incredible job in rewarding you for looking carefully. Sometimes you can find a bit of money hidden in debris that you have to pulöl towards yourself with the kinesis module. Or you find a door behind some movable object. The progression of the game is incredibly satisfying. You really notice how you are becomming stronger and more adapt to your enemies moves. You learn which weapon is good against which enemy. Talking about weapons, I do have some criticism. You have four weapon slots that you can assign a weapon to. And of course there are more than 4 weapons in the game. There are four weapons that I used for the entire game at some point and I didnt really need the others as those four accomplished everything i needed. And as your inventory slots are limited and you can only unlock more by upgrading your armor, the other weapons just take up unnecessary inv. space. Additionally, enemies can drop the ammo of every weapon in your inventory. And seeing that ammo is rare, I dont want ammo for a weapon I bareöy use anyway, so I just put the weapon in the storage (In the shop, there is a sorage where you can store stuff in order to free inv. space) I would have been more inclined to use the other weapons, if the enemies would only drop the ammo of the weapons you have equipped. (And just fyi, they don't drop ammo thaaat ofter so when they do, you want it to be useful ammo) You are able to use your first weapon until the end of the game as you can upgrade every weapon and unlock new upgrade paths far along into the game, so thats another plus point. There are a number of enemies in the game, each one with there own mechanics, so combat also mdoen't get boring and is challenging until the very end. There are a few bosses and I really enjoyed to fight them, (except for the final one) as they each have their own combat style and you can't just use your weapons and shoot untill he's dead, so that's VERY BIG Plus point. Though the end boss was boring sadly. There are also elite enemies, but I am not quite sure how I feel about them. They seem scary and are tough at first, but once you have them figured out, they are easier than some normal enemies. And sadly there is only one type of elite enemy so thats a little bummer. In conclusion: I very much recommend playing dead-space. If you are no fan of hard combat you can play on easy or story mode, if you like a challenge, well, I think I said everything for that option and if you don't like horror then you're in the wrong genre. The Game is rated 18 for a reason. The story telling, the voice actors and the game-design are INCREDIBLE. And I don't say that often. I would wait for the game to be on sale as it is pretty pricey for the time you put into it. I hope I was able to help you and maybe you can find an incredible game in dead space. Have fun with it, or don't, as it is your choice. but I recommend giving it a try. Have a nice day! Müsst ihr wissen #hob <3
