Darksiders Warmastered Edition

Just finished 100%ing Darksiders Warmastered Edition, and good lord, the voice acting. It's incredible, and War is still one of the coolest protagonists I've played. He's stoic, masculine, and really doesn't change much throughout the game. What you see is what you get. The gameplay has a strong Zelda-like feel to it. The puzzles are fun, and one of my favorite parts of the progression is mentally keeping track of things I can't reach yet. I'd pass those ice crystals and think, "Alright, I'm definitely coming back for that." Then I'd spot a wall that looked suspiciously climbable or some weird purple thing hanging above me and make another mental note. Hours later, I'd unlock a new ability and immediately think, "Oh ♥♥♥♥, I know exactly where I can use this." That's incredibly satisfying. The combat is good old-fashioned hack-and-slash. Button mash on Normal for a laid-back experience and dodge more on higher difficulties. It's fun, but I wouldn't say the combat is what makes Darksiders great, and it's probably what keeps the game at an 8.5 instead of a 9 for me. The bosses also usually come with the twist of using the new ability you just learned in the dungeon to figure out how to take them down, which makes learning that new ability feel worthwhile. My only real complaint is running around on Ruin for 100 miles to get the 100% completion. Overall, great game. 8.5/10

This is an all time favorite, just started playing again and it is still as fun.

Existem jogos bons e ruins, mas é difícil recomendar um para alguém que quer começar agora, tá aí. Darksiders é isso o Hack n' Slash mais completo e simples que já vi, é um Devil may cry e God of war com elementos de Zelda Ocarina of Time, o Design de mapa é tão bem feito e direto que é só andar pra frente e deixar sua intuição te dizer o que fazer. O 'Guerra' é simples e correto, não tem personalidade nem fala muito mas é mais importante pra franquia que o próprio 'Morte' e isso é explicito. Nota: 10/10 Descrição: Uma das melhores portas de entrada pro mundo dos jogos a partir dos H&S.

По сравнению с оригиналом визуальная составляющая стала на голову выше, а вот в плане графических эффектов немного перестарались и динамические сцены стали напоминать кутеж с "мадамой без моральных принципов" в ночном клубе. Однако яркая картинка смотрится достойно, даже можно сказать, что сочно, особенно во время интенсивных сражений. В своё время было приятно проходить и наблюдать за развитием изворотливой сюжетной линии. Warmastered Edition не имеет каких-то игровых изменений и полностью повторяет всё из оригинальной части. Для покупки я, конечно, рекомендую именно эту, а для коллекции обе сразу, ведь иногда так и тянет вернуться и погонять ... кхм... Войну, по злополучным задворкам планеты.
