Investigate murders, search for clues and talk to your classmates to prepare for trial. There, you'll engage in deadly wordplay, going back and forth with suspects. Dissect their statements and fire their words back at them to expose their lies! There's only one way to survive—pull the trigger.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 9.14/day in the week to Sep 9 → 26/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

at this point, the main plot is just a side dish because what do you mean the school mode achievements is more work? but i really enjoyed the story! BUT i was practically burn out repeating trials to get more coins after TT that's on me tho for trying to get full achievements on one sitting LOL
Absolute PEAK of a game 10/10 gave me so much hope i even think Half-Life 3 might release one day

i like the story of the game. its well centered and the dialogue is also something to note

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a fantastic introduction to the series. The mystery stays engaging from beginning to end, the cast is memorable, and every trial keeps you thinking. While some of the mechanics are simpler than in the later games, they still make the investigations and Class Trials a lot of fun. The atmosphere, soundtrack, and constant sense of tension make it a game I can easily come back to, even after multiple playthroughs.

I originally started this game in 2020 and got about 7 hours in before I stopped. I started again about two weeks ago because my partner loves the game, and his excitement was infectious. As of this review I have finished the main story; I will now go to school mode to get more of the characters, and eventually move on to the sequels. There are two main things that I disliked: Genocide Jill is an extremely harmful stereotype of Dissociative Identity Disorder, and I personally found the sexualization creepy. However, the game and story were so good (and, keep in mind, this was originally released in 2010) that those didn't really impact my enjoyment enough to stop me, and I will definitely recommend the game to people with a preface of those two things. This is the first visual novel type game I've ever actually finished and I know it now won't be the last, if that tells you anything about how much I enjoyed it.
