Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

get armored core instead. I bought this for $0.61 and I still don't think it's worth the time or money.
If the game was just robot battles i would give it a 10/10 but the characters and voice acting is wack.
tl;dr: If it had a few parts fixed, it could probably be a fairly good game, but as it stands... if you got it in some bundle or for like 5 bucks, go ahead and try it. Otherwise? Give it a pass. Rest of the review: Sluggish, long, wordy cutscenes that won't end at times, with characters who you have no idea who any of them are but the game constantly treats it like it's some anime spinoff franchise and you should already know these people and they're just making the cameo rounds. Lots of static images then the "animated" cutscenes tend to be everyone standing around in the tiny hangar you get for preparing for launch only to make one or two uninspired animations. Short missions that take more time in loading screens and setup than actually doing them often, unless it too is flooded with cutscenes. Then I got to a story mission where I cleared the first objective so quickly, it forgot that there was a second objective listed as "???" and ended the mission. But since it's a story mission I also can't go back and try it again to try to let it give me the second objective. I wanted to get into another mech game and like it, but even with all of that, the actual mech play has trouble, the most basic missiles hitting you will stun lock you to an absurd degree, even if you're using a fairly high anti-stun setup. The online play (two of the 3 mission selectors in the hangar are exclusively this) is a series of bland preset corridors randomly shoved together. And there's where another major flaw comes in, there's a jump and "fly up" button, but trying to fly down essentially doesn't exist (you can force it by angling down to a stupid degree), so your only option is "stop flying and fall", which in the corridors of that mission meant I was hopping too high and banging into ceilings constantly, the camera is a bit of a mess on top of everything. Then the enemy mechs I was fighting in this mission alternate from absurdly overpowered and can thrust across entire large rooms in an instant making missiles and lockons entirely worthless against them. Then they get stuck in a corner and twitch out wildly giving you a chance to just calmly shoot them until they die. The ability to loot a part from defeated enemy mechs is probably one of the few high points of this game. But they hardly did it first, and I just can't recommend a game for that alone. I might even consider the problem with that story mission glitching as "okay yeah, that's just me." but apparently everyone agrees the game is too easy most of the time, but worse than that, many of the side objectives specifically are "do it faster." So even taking that mission casually causing it to glitch is the game fighting against its own instructions. Add to that a disturbing number of escort and protect missions, not that these are hard either, but it's the irritation of it stacking on top of all the rest. Most of the upgrades in the special tree will alter how your character looks wether you want it or not, so you can either not take these upgrades, or start having a weirdly roboticized character. I really wanted to give the game a thumbs up for the few things it does right, but the longer I type at this review and consider the problems it has, the more certain I am that it needs a 'not recommended' from me.
Turn off audio, skip cutscenes, play to your heart's content. Delving into the story takes costs you 1 iq point each time you decide to not skip the cutscenes or dialogues
the gameplay most times its fun but my god the story and characters are the worst parts of it. The tropes are so stupid too, how is the game making me let go of the people who try to kill me every time go, even when they kill other characters. It's so annoying it's like the highest degree of anime logic and it has the audacity to call itself dark scifi. And how many times are people going to betray humanity commit crimes they just walk back and all is well because of talk no jutsu. The gameplay is fun but everything else is ass. It feels like they wanted to added choices to this game but they lacked the capacity so the characters make it seem like you're making choices when its clearly linear.
Armored Core at home My first ever mecha game that I got into and completed! Very simple and minimal. Daemon x Machina is literally just the Monster Hunter format on a tiny scale. Mecha Hunter Was excellent on Steam Deck OLED regarding wattage/battery life and performance for a game of this caliber All Achievements! Gameplay was rly fun I had an issue with the FOV. It felt difficult to see anything in this game. Mini map helps to an extent. Doesn't compensate for the 360-degree enemy positions The camera controls on controller were bad. Huge deadzone. Made aiming and moving the camera very difficult for me Story was lame. Ended up skipping all cutscenes and muting the voices. English VA was super cheesy and fruity OST was great, especially the main theme. Absolute banger Very short. Not a whole lot of content Some of the achievements had NOTHING to do with the game. You can complete the game with like 5k AI enemy kills total The grind for 100k is absolutely stupid. It has nothing to do with the game, and just artificially drags out this content lack-luster game in the worst way possible
I look forward to DxM 2, but I'm also disappointed in it. I came here for the Mechs, not Anthem
