Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a fine game, but as a guy who played and finished AC6 to its true ending, well, this game bored me to hell. The missions are short and doesn't feel immersive, its hard to see enemies who are shooting you, the mechs don't feel heavy like how a mech should. Overall it just doesn't do it for me.
This game is very good, it has great story and game-play mechanics, i don't have much negative to say considering they did a great job on making it, the mech making, building and customisation are all really well made, character creation is cool and there being a lab for that too is also interesting even though i haven't used it yet. my only annoyances with he game are small things, like when the game gives you a fight, even if you can beat them and get their health super low, its stays there because your not supposed to beat them, adding onto this, when it comes to people asking you to not take a mission or stand down, you cant which makes it a little annoying it doesn't take away from what a great game this is. after nearly 20 hours im still not completely done with missions since there is multiplayer mission that you can do alongside free missions and the main story. overall it is a great game and definitely worth buying

I'm not a stranger to Daemon x Machina. Having thoroughly played this game on the switch, I left it after a dozen or so hours rather unimpressed. Coming back to it again on steam I understand now how misled I was. The game stumbles at times, but the gameplay itself is cathartic. So thoroughly bludgeoned by it's poor switch performance, framerate, and fidelity, that I didn't recognize the treasure within. Controls Daemon X machina offers what a lot of games don't. A fully customizable controller setup. With the addition of two bind-able modifier buttons the game rewards controller adjustment. And controller adjustment is exactly what anybody playing this game should do. The default controller function is useable. But in all other ways the default schemes, all three of them, are terrible. Beyond that, the controls are responsive. Barring mech incapacitation, the same string of inputs will result in the same output 100% of the time. Aside from one quirk of switching left and right quickly (which itself enables an attack I'm fond of) and even with that quirk, controlling your arsenal is like a dream. Your limits in maneuverability and agility are hampered only by your speed and finger dexterity. The better you are, the better the game feels. Mechanics Daemon x Machina is one of those few games in the genre where the balance is such that even the starter mech and early game guns are both useable and good. To the exception of some of the weapons added in later post game updates, the balance for the core of a game is done rather well. This, combined with responsive controls, creates a gameplay environment in which player ability, creates a monumentally massive impact. There are an innumerable amount of complexities in movement, how the fast movement skill "blink" works, landing techniques, lock-on breaking techniques, and more. The game is one of those rare 'game' games that provide endless room to grow. More importantly, it's one of the rare mecha games in which player expression can be observed even if the same exact arsenal is piloted by two different people. Story DXM has an intriguing story marred by it's poor delivery and low stakes. Stages are filled with a near endless stream of chatter. Lots of people talk about the death of their allies, loves ones, and others. Yet for most of the game, fights play out like the first season of Transformers where everybody gets up after the fight is over and goes home. The constantly low risk of most of the game makes it hard to connect to events when the stakes actually are high. On top of that, the mission structure is filled with a lot of chatter which ends up feeling like filler. Pre mission briefings are filled with a lot of dialogue unrelated to the situation and it became, for me at least, rather draining towards the final act of the game. sound The music is definently memorable. But while I found the songs enjoyable, they ultimately didn't stand out to me enough to be able to recall any individual unique theme from memory. The majority of the bosses sharing the same theme is a bit of a disappointment. Where the real contention comes from are the effect sounds. Bullets sound like pop guns, machine-guns don't offer an audio syphony, the lasers are weak, bazookas don't sound like what they are. Missile impact and explosions are mild. The effects audio through and through was simply not very good. Conclusion[/b[ Like I stated with my intro, I find DxM to be a fascinating game almost entirely on the back of it's gameplay. It has quirks. But ultimately the game provides an endless playing field with which to improve both the mech and the player. For players interested in a game that actively encourages the player improvement process, you can do a lot worse than picking this game up and tinkering with the controls.
Armored Core at home My first ever mecha game that I got into and completed! Very simple and minimal. Daemon x Machina is literally just the Monster Hunter format on a tiny scale. Mecha Hunter Was excellent on Steam Deck OLED regarding wattage/battery life and performance for a game of this caliber All Achievements! Gameplay was rly fun I had an issue with the FOV. It felt difficult to see anything in this game. Mini map helps to an extent. Doesn't compensate for the 360-degree enemy positions The camera controls on controller were bad. Huge deadzone. Made aiming and moving the camera very difficult for me Story was lame. Ended up skipping all cutscenes and muting the voices. English VA was super cheesy and fruity OST was great, especially the main theme. Absolute banger Very short. Not a whole lot of content Some of the achievements had NOTHING to do with the game. You can complete the game with like 5k AI enemy kills total The grind for 100k is absolutely stupid. It has nothing to do with the game, and just artificially drags out this content lack-luster game in the worst way possible
I look forward to DxM 2, but I'm also disappointed in it. I came here for the Mechs, not Anthem

Buy on sale for $10, no more. I skipped 95% of all cut-scenes and conversation logs because the story and characters are boring. Customizing your mech is probably the most fun this game can offer. Not many playing online anymore, to be expected. Worth if on sale.
People complain about the story; but, I wonder if they're just appraising the English dub script at times with nitpicks on dialogue. Other than that, it read as any other typical mecha anime plot with some esoteric/ancient/extradimensional power/entity on top of stuff, so I personally loved it as a love letter to the genre. I think other people just lack enough literary experience to actually be able to box up those feelings and reactions to properly ascertain the value of a story in objectivity. The gameplay itself felt amazing to me at every corner. The femto system is a really nice take on the genre for me, the switch between an armor buff, damage buff, and booster buff is really fun to play around with and feels like a creative way to balance unlimited expression of one particular playstyle to reach a point where it becomes the only viable playstyle; however, I have not tried PvP, so I wouldn't know what the meta there is yet. Doesn't seem as if multiplayer is that alive other than having to join a Discord and try to schedule stuff out with other players, I'm just waiting for the day I get some friends to join in on the fun because average brainrotted gamer is disgusted by attempts at genuine human connection - it is what it is. The boosting feels great as well as staying in the air doesn't require usage of the boost, so you can be using your multi-boost chains in all 3 planes of movement to quickly gain position or create distance between you and your opponent. The game of course matches this freedom of expression with an escalation in the pace and rate of change within the enemies you face going up in difficulty; but, never really truly reaching even a fraction of it's true potential until you start doing stuff after the main story. This is a great game, I don't have enough time on it and I need 100 hours more, I highly recommend this game, especially if you're craving another Armored Core game after furiously playing through 6 and waiting for a PC port of 4.
This is a hard recommend. I was hoping something like Armored Core or Zone of the Enders. When I look at the videos it looks like it could be close to Zone of the Enders. IT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE. The controls are weird. Each mission is only like 2 - 5 minutes long. The story was meh at best. The Co-op is completely dead and they placed many achievements to get them. Again barely a recommend since it isn't a bad game and you can enjoy your time of it but it is not like the above games.
