Amazing Game! the main story is a bit average but the sheer scale of the open world is outstanding, there is so much to explore, the combat is heaps of fun, the puzzles while sometimes being frustrating are a nice challenge. I haven't had this much fun with an open world game in a long time. 10/10
One of the WORST games I've ever played. Boring protagonist and characters, with an almost nonexistent story. EVEN THE VOICE ACTOR FOR CLINT SAID IN AN INTERVIEW THAT HE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE STORY. The only salvageable aspects are the open world and the world design. But even those don't matter when there's no INTERESTING LORE to back them up.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 76.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 313.57/day in the week after.
Of the 13 markets with a position on both sides, 12 climbed and 1 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Crimson Desert starts by suggesting it has potential. You play thinking there'll be more that the rest of the game will arrive. But it never does, that's all there was. It just never becomes what it could have been. Also, every last puzzle is made by a schizo that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hates you. Don't play it, you'll lose your mind.

It's a very big and a very beautiful world to get lost in. It's also a real feast for those who love collectathons because you can collect well...almost everything! And you can greet every person! The sheer scale is enormous. I'm having fun but I take my time. I don't rush at all, I just walk around, run around, greet people, catch bugs and enjoy it very much. Oh! And I like Kliff. He is a good egg.
I really enjoy its variety and ability to play at your own pace and that it scratch my sense of exploration and my sense of combat. Would reccomend finally got to robot area, cant wait for the dating and sims stuff and im not even weird 10/10 game
This is the jankiest RPG I have ever played. I really really want to like it because when the game is good, its awesome and a marvel. Exploring the big beautiful landscapes or cities works wonders until you realize that its mostly just empty space. This becomes truer the further along the game you progress. Ironically the game area gets larger but theres less things to do. The biggest gribe I have with this game is the poor, very poor explanation for things. Its not like other games where the point is for you to figure it out, most of things have an explanation or introduction but its worthless. These explanations are so poorly done that even very simple tasks are hard to figure out if you mistakenly read the quest instead of just trying. I want to highlight how absolutely atrocious this aspect of the game is. There are so many things which are done so exceptionally bad when it comes to language that I genuinely believe it to be translated from Chinese into english or that the guy who translated it, is chinese with poor english. This embodies the entire game, from combat, exploration, building, taming, skills, specific use cases, puzzles, fetch quests, crafting, hunting, moving, items etc. Genuinely at this point its such a big mess that I don't understand how anyone could ship a game in this state. Its not done, bugs is one thing but there isn't enough content for the size, when you get later into the game its just rehashed quests and slay x enemies in this area. The bosses are everywhere and you have to fight one every 10 minutes or you can't progress the quest. Not only does this get tirering real quick it also takes the special out of the bosses and special fights where the developers have bothered designing it. Then theres the forced character switch in chapter 7 or 8 where you're immediately thrown into a boss fight on a character I have never played and have no interest in playing either. Its very obvious that this doesn't follow the flow of the story and have been shoehorned in to force this change. The story is.... hard to follow at times and at others it makes less sense than that. The the longest time in the start you are just doing random quests and the story doesn't seem to stick together. I am in chapter 10, I think, and I still don't know wtf is going on with Kliff our main guy or why he does what he does. We have no clue who he is or what his values are we just know that he loves his comrades. I have softlocked quests that I can't progress through because I moved an object and can't move them back. Combat is unmistakenly the achilles heel of this game. Its just a bunch of mechanics thrown together. The amount of bugs I've had in combat, rolling on air, being stuck floating, or being stuck in broken barrels, pillars or whatever else a boss throws you at. I am 100 hours in and don't know whether to quit. I don't care for the ending or the repetition of the quests. I have been for the last couple of chapters just dreading every single boss fight because they are so tedious and hard when I just want the thing to end. The story isn't thrilling or exciting as we constantly switch between three narratives depending on which main quest you are doing. All in all the game is very very ambitious but fails to hit the mark and sucks the fun out of your curiosity to explore. Leave this game for now until they as a minimum fix the plethora of bugs or better yet revamp their introduction and language.
