Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 48.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great atmosphere, great soundtrack. Looking forward to Control 2!
Right off the bat I can start by saying this is NOT a terrible game. I can't recommend it, however, because its simply utterly underwhelming and overstays it's welcome. This game has a significant positive reputation backing it and to be honest, it's criminally overrated. The story is sleep inducing and the delivery of that story, even more so as it's largely delivered via a plethora of collectible lore dumps. Gameplay doesn't do it any favors either, you'll usually just be using your 2 favorite weapon forms mixed in with throwing stuff at enemies for the entirety of this games 50-60 hour run time. Variety is borderline non-existent and it doesn't stop with just viable combat approaches, enemies are really poor here. AI is rudamentary and easy, you'll face groups of standard enemies with sometimes a heavy enemy that does the same thing as the standard enemies. Sometimes there will be a heavy enemy that throws something at you or instead of a standard enemy you'll fight a standard enemy with a shield. But wait! Sometimes they fly! The enemy design is terrible with almost no change in how you need to approach them, and there is zero variety in their skins. You're fighting the same looking/behaving enemies over and over. Bosses are also complete pushovers and present even less of a threat than some of the standard enemies do. Variety is also non-existent with the areas you explore. The setting is a multi-dimensional office building that shifts and changes but yet every area you're in is monochrome concrete and desks. There truly is nothing about this game that hooks you and keeps you wanting more, it's all just mediocre and honestly starts feeling like a drag 10 hours in. There are like 400 collectibles to find too and each of them is just a lore dump or a weird abstract cutscene that leaves you more confused than entertained. Director went overboard attempting mystery and abstract filmography which really just comes off as silly rather than serious. The cutscenes being spliced with live-action also does more to pull you out of the immersion than it does to suck you in. Best part of this game is The Foundation DLC. Don't buy this unless it's on a heavy sale.

I was consistently sitting on the edge of my seat just absorbing the fantastic writing, direction, and performances.
Проходняк, хоть и неплохой
One of the best gameplay and graphically good looking game. With interesting story from Remedy and as their usual strategy the story ends in a cliff hanger XD. Definitely worth the play before the control resonant drops. Can't wait to play as Dylan. Definitely Recommended!!!
Interconnects with Alan Wake so 10/10

probably the first game where I read every note because I genuinely wanted to piece everything together (still didn't get it). I'm a David Lynch fan, so this game really hit the spot for me. I only upgraded the Launch ability, and it was enough to beat the game without much struggle + throwing things is fun. The side missions could've been more interesting, though. Looking for the mold spheres was probably the most tedious part. overall, I'd recommend it for the world-building through notes and recordings, the atmosphere, the janitor, and the main story.
Control is a great action shooter with a mind bending story. The gameplay is very fast and fluid, with some nice light puzzle solving between the combat sections. The changing landscape of The Oldest House acts as a great, almost metroid-vania like map to explore. The story is really good, though I was confused a lot. I think that's just what this kinda story is going to do, though. You're never gonna get a ton of answers. The visuals, sound, and music do a fantastic job of supporting this crazy, mind-bending narrative. I overall enjoyed Control a lot. I didn't enjoy it near as much as Alan Wake 2, but this was a really fun time. 8/10
