Its a polished game, very good gameplay, but the story didnt take my foot off the ground tbh. Still, overall a good game with good action, good characters and unique artstyle, but the plot is really underwhelming in my opinion.

really nice combat and interesting story
Great World Building and Atmosphere. Went out of my way to really fall into the lore and take my time and made exploring the logs really enjoyable. This gave a good break in-between action elements. Only minor issues I really had was sometimes the map was hard to read here and there at times. Good mix of choices for weapons, skill progression. Wish I had more of the ashtray maze experience throughout the game was 10/10 that part. Overall would highly recommend!
The game is an absolute blast to play, and it looks stunning with its vibrant red ambience enhanced by ray tracing. I strongly recommend playing with ray tracing enabled—not just here, but also in other Remedy titles like Alan Wake 2. That said, there’s one notable issue: textures often fail to load properly, even when set to Ultra. The fix is straightforward: set DLSS to Quality, max out your graphics settings, then close the game. After that, head to the installation folder and launch the game using Control_DX11.exe. Once you do this, the texture problem disappears.
