Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Aug 23 → 8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cocoon is a beautiful and mysterious little puzzle game, where you follow a bug like creature on its journey towards a (at first) unknown goal. There are only two controls: movement and an action button. Nothing else needed. The gameplay revolves around progressing the game by using different orbs that have unique abilities as well as containing an individual world. (e.g. the orange one can build bridges and features a rocky environment) The more orbs you unlock, the more complex the puzzles get, as you can now build a sort of "matryoshka", since you can have an orb within an orb. This is needed to pass certain obstacles or transfer the orb to an otherwise unreachable location to use its power there. There are a couple of boss fights, these however also consist of puzzles and there is no real combat etc. Personally, the puzzles were exactly the type of logical thinking that I am good at and it was a delightful experience to navigate the world, which is by the way beatifully crafted, both visually and auditorily. Jeppe Carlsen (known from Limbo & Inside) did a great job at creating this very mysterious and stunning world. The story reveals itself through the gameplay and cutscenes, but honestly doesn't make a lot of sense until you finish the game. My only two negative aspects would be the following: - Returning to the game after a break of 1-2 days is very confusing, as you have no idea what is going on, especially if you have to quit mid-puzzle. - Some puzzles are simply recycled but with a longer duration. Basically, the same mechanic is being used multiple times but with an additional obstacle, that just seems to artifically prolong game time. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for Cocoon and it was an absolutely enjoyable experience, which I highly recommend to everyone who likes cozy and beatiful puzzle games.

I set out on a most memorable journey. The path I walked twisted and warped, at times folding in on itself. If you asked me now, I could not recount it. Especially later, when I started stacking the worlds into each other, the effects rippling both inwards and outwards, my brain was thoroughly twisted. Yet I feel a dissonance between the path I glimpsed and the one I walked. These fantastical worlds I visited often felt overwhelming through their alien architecture. But gradually the game taught me to trust the invisible guiding hand that would not let me get lost, that would ensure my progress, and that I did things in the correct order. On occasion I had to fight, but there was never more than my patience at stake - just a proverbial pebble in my shoe. When I arrived safely at my conclusion, all was forgotten. I was at times perplexed but never weary - and always smiling.
Fun puzzle game that uses a nested world mechanic. Controls nicely and puzzles that require timing are fairly forgiving. One or two of the levels took me sometime to wrap my head around. Easy to pick up and play for a few minutes here and there. An enjoyable casual game
Beautiful and unique puzzle game. The story is completely driven by visuals, as there is no dialogue, which pushes you to really immerse yourself in the experience. Picking up the breadcrumbs of how things work and interact throughout puzzles that gradually extrapolate on each other was very fun. I didn't find it too difficult, but it does make you use your brain harder in some spots than others. Play time is very short, but it didn't really feel like it. Great on Steam deck.
Fun. Felt a little easy until I got to certain point and started making me think. Nice controls, good art/environments.
if you like abstract games... thats really great.
Get it if it's on sale. This game is a highly polished and very pretty puzzles game, but I 100%'d it in 4 hours while using a guide only to find 2 optional collectibles I didn't feel like scouring the entire game for after I beat it. This is quite short for a 23€ game, so get it on sale. (Though, I am pretty good at logic puzzles, so your mileage may vary) Visuals: As for the game, the best part is the visuals. This game is gorgeous, and the devs know how to show it. You'll be going through different "levels", each with its own distinct theme and visual personality that really show off the art team's skill. They use a lot of colours, and all of them pop. Music: The music is also good. It's not amazing, but it's good, and fits the game perfectly. I personally enjoy the dynamic aspect of it, since it gets more intense when you're doing well on a puzzle, and cools off when you're stuck, which I personally enjoyed. Story: Now the story... There certainly was one. This game's story is quite the enigma, it's kinda like Dark Souls, in that you're just doing random stuff and occasionally cool stuff happens. However, unlike Dark Souls, there are no item descriptions, so you just have cool environments and spectacle. This is definitely not a negative, but just don't expect and amazing story-driven narrative. Gameplay: As for the gameplay itself, it was very good. I never once got annoyed at the controls, and everything you have to do flows together nicely. The game itself is a puzzle game, and I personally didn't find any of the puzzles, even the late game ones, particularly difficult. They're mostly just there to get you to move around and see the beautiful environments. The weakest part was definitely the boss fights. These mostly just boil down to "survive until the gimmick activates", and they lose the charm of exploring an area in favour of a pretty boring arena. Still, they're all decent and have fun spectacle. At no point did I get annoyed or frustrated at the game. In short, this game has a good artstyle, great environments and spectacle moments, as well as decent music. To me, though, 4 hours is a bit too short for a 23€ price tag. If it's on sale, though, make sure to get it, otherwise, skip it until it is.
