Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

진짜 재밌게 하고 있었는데 비행기 위에서 전투하다가 대화가 끊기고 아무 반응도 없는 버그에 걸려서 진행이 안됨
I'll try to keep this brief because I'm conscious of not spending too much time reviewing a game I decided not to finish. I actually didn't hate this game straight away. In fact, for the first few levels I really enjoyed it. I like the cute tone, Guardia is a world I'd like to live in and, when it comes to the time travel element, Chrono Trigger is one of the best implementations of it I've seen in science fiction. It caused me to consider my own place in history with the kind of emotional resonance that's rare in a subgenre otherwise used as a cheap gimmick. But... this game also demonstrates the problem with porting to PC a game made over 25 years ago for a system that was basically a glorified Game Boy. There were multiple times when my progress through the game was held back by the design of the map/environment being so unintuitive. On one memorable occasion, I discovered that the only way of progressing through a particular level was by walking through an opening in a wall - except the game has a top-down view, which made the opening impossible to see. It turned out that the only way of finding such openings was to walk against the edge of the frame on the off-chance that there was one. How is this not counter-intuitive to the way video games are played? It felt like cheating. I'd discovered that the only way of getting through a level was, essentially, to act completely out of character. How much difference is there really between scraping the edge of the frame in case of an invisible gap and no-clipping like the common hacker? It isn't clever, it's just poor game design. That ♥♥♥♥ might have flown in 1995 when people had limited choice but, today, it's just not acceptable when there are so many other games out there.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

prefiro o de super nintendo
It’s my first time playing this game, and I’m loving it. Chrono Trigger is overflowing with charm and personality, and I quickly understood why it’s considered a true classic. Unfortunately, this port is riddled with bugs. Shops constantly show 0 G no matter how much money I have, the game sometimes refuses to start, loading occasionally breaks, and some sounds are out of sync. I keep having to google issues, only to realize, “yeah, that’s just a port problem.” Because of that, I can’t really recommend this version of the game. If possible, play it on the Super Nintendo or another platform instead.
Talvez nunca mais veremos um projeto reunir tantos talentos inspirados trabalhando em perfeita sintonia para criar algo tão especial. Chrono Trigger é o suprassumo do JRPG. Um jogo brilhante, com ritmo impecável do começo ao fim e uma gameplay que continua excelente até hoje. É impressionante como o tempo simplesmente não conseguiu envelhecê-lo. Tudo ainda parece moderno, atual e extremamente bem pensado. Recomendação eterna!
My friend Danny was absolutely obsessed with this game when we were in highschool. Always saying,"Play Chrono Trigger! It will change your life, dude!" And I was like "oh please." So far I am really enjoying this game, despite the bug where it won't let me rename any of my party members. I love the beautiful pixel art, I love the story so far, which is really well done. It's kind of easy to get lost at first but I am figuring it out on my own, the old school way 😏. I'll update this after I complete the game but I love it so far! Starting to see what all the hype is about. I'm only 30ish years late!
It pains me to give my favorite game of all time a negative review because of a bad port. They did have some quality of life improvements, but you're still better off playing the original on SNES. These are still plenty of ways to do that and you don't need to search very hard.
Il miglior JRPG a cui abbia mai giocato, un gioco clamoroso a cui dovrebbero giocare tutti
