Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 20 → 6.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Lead the last survivors in the aftermath of the Cataclismo as a corrupted world seeks to destroy all that remains of humanity. Build fortresses brick by brick, designing intricate, towering structures of wood and stone to fend off waves of Horrors as they attempt to overwhelm your band of survivors. Command powerful units in their stalwart defense, coordinating their varied capabilities as you race from breach to breach. Lead forays into the unknown to secure the vital resources needed to grow your military might and construction capabilities as you hold fast against the ever-growing onslaught – siege after siege, night after night.

Far from the relative safety of the Last City, your citadels and outposts hold back the hordes of Horrors before they can strike at the heart of humanity. Build impregnable fortresses across multiple biomes using an intricate building system that allows you to design your defenses with full freedom and strategic creativity, adapting your plans to the surrounding environment. Take advantage of natural chokepoints, height advantages, and local resources as you strategize for the challenge of each upcoming night’s attack.
A highly modular building system allows you to design your fortresses exactly as you desire – one piece at a time, with blueprints you have designed in advance, or using community creations shared by other players. Use your hard-earned resources to build structures that grant access to previously unreachable parts of the map, or construct fortifications that deny the Horrors access and provide your troops safe vantage points.
Build cheaply and quickly using wood, or establish quarries and use durable stone to better withstand the onslaught. Keep an eye on structural integrity and load-bearing columns as falling pieces will kill friend and foe alike, often creating unique opportunities to crush numerous enemies with cleverly placed vulnerabilities.
Adapt your fortress to growing needs as you acquire new tools and expand in an attempt to secure all the resources needed to sustain a powerful defensive force. Optimize the path from resource deposits to your warehouses with well placed structures and use rooftop construction to make the most of your limited space.

Though the Horrors may test your defenses during the day, only at night do they pour forth in full force. Spend your days exploring the world and pursuing the growth of your fortress, but as the sun starts to set, you would be wise to position your forces in preparation for the night’s onslaught.
Skillfully command soldiers ranging from sharp-eyed bowmen to explosive cannoneers to respond to an ever-evolving situation as new Horrors emerge. Draw the enemy into chokepoints lined with devastating traps and ambush them raining down fire arrows and pots of poison flung from your battlements. Maneuver your troops into precise tactical positions to take advantage of special traits and abilities made available as they upgrade, positioning them at heights that let them perform at their best – a wise architect can design fortresses that allow for a tiered defense.
Build vital structures to sustain your defenses against the growing threat and unlock higher levels of prosperity alongside new technologies. Resource gathering outposts, unit recruitment centers, and housing for your citizens all directly and indirectly support your troops in their efforts. Should the walls falter, even your citizens' homes can be used as a secondary layer of defense – you must protect the citadel at all costs.

Cataclismo contains all three of: an epic single-player narrative campaign; a skirmish mode featuring hand-crafted maps; and an endlessly replayable challenge mode that puts you to the test on procedurally generated maps where you fend off increasingly dangerous waves of Horrors. A complex map editor gives you the ability to design and share skirmish maps of your own to challenge the community while the intricate construction system will allow the architecturally inclined to build and share blueprints and help others in their defense against the Horrors.
The Cataclismo left the world devastated. But all hope is not lost – lead humanity through the darkness to a bright future as you design grand fortresses and command troops in real-time battles against a seemingly endless horde that will stop at nothing to see your people destroyed.

Reviews
Cataclismo offers a fairly unique take on the standard RTS formula, combining your typical base building gameplay with the ability to design custom architecture. It follows a similar level progression to classic RTS games such as Warcraft where the player needs to construct specific buildings in order to unlock various improvements around your settlement. However, the game also encourages the player to take their time in designing their settlement by allowing them to pause the in-game-time while still issuing orders. Despite this convenience, the player is still pressured by the ever looming threat of nightfall and the many horrors it brings.
The Campaign
Cataclismo offers three primary game modes to the player. These are the campaign, skirmish, and survival. Of these, the campaign is where the entirety of the game’s story content takes place, and where I spent the majority of my playtime. I don't have much to say on the other two game-modes, as they are mostly similar to the Settlement Building. The meat and potatoes of the campaign is the variety of mission types and story gimmicks it offers. There are three mission types spread throughout the campaign, each with its own unique side-objectives.
Settlement Building
The first of these is your classic settlement builder where the player is tasked with constructing a settlement to survive a set number of days. Each day is separated into three sections: daytime, dusk, and night. The daytime is where a majority of time is spent, where the player is tasked with building up their economy and defenses while also scouring the map for specific side-objectives. Dusk is a brief period that is mostly the same as daytime. It primarily serves as a warning for the player to finalize their defenses, and prepare for the swarm of horrors that will inevitably arrive at night.
Expedition
The second campaign mission type is expedition, which is a more story heavy experience. These missions have the player take control of a small band of units while exploring a mostly linear map, typically wandering into small groups of enemies while searching for the next story beat. Most of these missions are fairly easy and mechanically uninteresting with a single exception. Fortunately, these mission types don't overstay their welcome.
Defense
The third and final campaign mission type is akin to a tower defense game, where the player is given a set amount of units and building materials. These missions give the player unlimited time to prepare their finite defenses, before manually triggering an attack wave. Defense missions are not very difficult, but they are entirely optional and can serve as entertaining breaks from the main story.
Bugs
In the nearly 50 hours that I’ve played Cataclismo, I encountered very few bugs, and those that I did were only minor inconveniences. The main issue that I encountered was a pathing bug that occurred when units were trying to navigate around tall, windy structures. In addition, the large units struggled to reposition when only moving a single space. Otherwise, this is a very stable game.
Closing Thoughts
Cataclismo is a fun and unique experience for anyone who enjoys a slow paced, methodical form of gameplay. The game actively encourages players to take it slow and rewind from your mistakes. You absolutely can speed-run the game if you know what you are doing, but you are not expected to constantly micromanage a large army in real time. If you want a fast paced, high intensity game, then I recommend you look elsewhere. All in all, I fully enjoyed playing Cataclismo. The game’s description tells you everything you need to know about it. So if you are interested in what Catalcismo has to offer, you should absolutely give it a try.

Great game.
亿万僵尸加强版,郝丸!在亿万僵尸那刚开完饭回来这边也开饭好玩耶
这个节奏,几乎是我想象中基地建设防守的理想模板 明明可以实现,但是实际上完成度做到这个地步的却不多。。。
its just okay.

Super!!!
I'm glad that I gave this game a shot. I've been bouncing off of a lot of city builder and horde defense games lately. This is a well balanced blend of both that keeps you doing different things that are all fun. i like the art style and the story was good enough. The best part of the game for me was the tile building system. I loved building the walls for the castles. I bought it on sale but i think it is worth the full asking price. I would buy a sequel if they developed one.
Inventive and atmospheric tower defense castle builder with some clever mechanics around height. Good game but VERY unrelaxing. Think more Banner Saga than Kingdom Rush.
