Developers are a joke. Don't waste your money because this game will definitely waste your time. This game is extremely brutal for an RTS. There are no in-game saves and no mission resets. If you lose, the game keeps track of it, and depending on how many times you fail, it actually takes away from your victory score when you eventually beat the mission. If you play this game, you can easily lose hours of your time only to eventually reach a point where you can't even progress. Now my options are either resetting after 25-hours into the campaign or modding the game just to reset a skill tree. What a joke. I got soft-locked on like the 7th mission because I didn't unlock specific things in a very overwhelming and poorly explained skill tree. Sorry for trying to casually play your game, only to run into a game-breaking situation. Yeah, let me spend hours researching and watching YouTube videos for a game I've never played before. Not so I can get good at it or gain an advantage—just so I can figure out how to actually play it. Just so I know what I HAVE to unlock in order to continue the campaign. Why even have a skill tree? It's not like I can really choose my own experience. You have to pick certain upgrades just to be able to complete missions, otherwise you'll spend hours playing only to reach a point where you literally can't move forward. I have hundreds of hours in RTS games and I'm a huge fan of Command & Conquer and other classics in the genre. I can confidently say this game is trash. Learn how to design a campaign properly, because this has made your game a laughingstock. Every thread, every post, every discussion brings up this exact issue. How have you not reworked this or at least explained it better? How about this: before a mission starts, add a "Requirements" section or something similar. If this was truly intended as part of the game design, and you're willing to let players soft-lock themselves after spending dozens of hours in a campaign, all you're doing is making people hate your game.

妈的,我要是有钱就把这个游戏版权买下来。二次开发,多弄点新东西 ,多点武器 、僵尸 。优化再做好点。
Why hide a good game behind boring pixel hunter mini games. Let me play the fun colony builder and skip the silly 1hour+ time waster minigames of killing zombies one by one with one hero and then hunting for an additional 30 minutes for hidden treasure. Having to scan over every pixel in each room with the cursor was so much fun too...
I tried liking this game so much. I ignored the writing and worldbuilding that was apparently done by a nine year old, I turned off unit voices so I could ignore the cringy lines, I respeced the entire keyboard layout to fix the prehistoric keybindings - but the game's main flaw is and remains a childish understanding of difficulty. It forces an iron man playstyle with no manual saves on missions that take hours, while making sure that letting even a single zombie through your defenses at any point in the game is an immediate game over. It announces waves that will assault your settlement at certain times, but then launches waves *between* those without warning or telling you. There is no feature to speed up time. No manual save. There's missions where zombies are just slow-walking at you for fifteen minutes, even though the result is clear after one. Every time you fail a mission, you have to start over. Most missions are full of lengthy stretches of utter boredom, fulled by such insane difficulty spikes that they force you right back into starting the entire thing from scratch. Ultimately, this is the first game of a great genre, and will hopefully remain its worst example.
Fun game but lack of a proper save feature in a single player game that is punishing is just bad game design. It is not fun to slowly build up for an hour just to have you base destroyed over a single zombie slipping by. I understand wanting trial and error to be a teacher though having your "lessons" be taught in a way that is openly hostile to players' time is insulting. No I do not want to put another hour or more into this failed mission just so I can then rinse and repeat the cycle over with the next mission. Such a shame too the game is genuinely enjoyable but I do not have time to reward a developer trying to strong arm me into more playtime. Uninstalled.
The game really doesn't respect your time (cliche I know) and has these random difficulty spikes that appear out of nowhere. Walls are useless and the concept of noise management in a city builder RTS that requires these high population cities is really backwards. Not only that, there is a chance through improper upgrade choices you could soft-lock yourself into a ♥♥♥♥ situation with the survival mission points. I really tried giving this game the old college try, but there are many design flaws that feel nearly impossible to navigate, or simply eat up way more time than other strategy games and RTS styles that do it better.
Gave it couple of years to cool off and make sure that my opinion is not a product of a butthurt. So here it goes. It is a great concept. It looks and plays well. It pushes all the right buttons with the presentation and early gameplay. But holy undead Jesus, after playing the campaign I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate it. As a strategy game it just sucks. It's like there is only one way to play it. Anything else, any minor deviation or mistake - you're done. It does not tolerate creativity. You just follow the script, and even then you're just a hair off from failure. You either know exactly what to do, or you try and fail, getting to know the scenario further with each failure. I didn't like it and only type of gamer I can recommend it to is the one that likes bashing their head against the wall to try to tear it down. Eventually they may succeed and put that smug "git gud" expression on their bloodied mug with the feeling of superiority over unwashed casuals.
I want to like this game, but the game certainly seems to not like its players. It's not just one thing that irks me, but lots of small things that add up to a frustrating experience. - Missions love to blind-side players with complications that require multiple attempts, but then tracks your failed attempts. - The game's main campaign is formatted the same as a challenge run in other RTS games. No reloading saves like an Iron Man mode, except that it only gives you a demerit instead of wiping your save completely. Every mission requires you to beat it in one try from start to finish as the primary game mode. - There's a campaign tech tree, but most missions require specific techs so there's no real customization. - The gameplay speed is either paused or slow. The early parts of every mission are a slog as you just wait for resources. As a PvE game, there's no reason for a restricted game speed. - The hero missions feel even slower with the mind-numbingly dull gameplay. One miss-click near the end and you wipe a half hour or more of progress. But you have to do these missions because they help you advance through the restrictive tech tree. - Single mistakes are punished by an exponentially ramping mechanic. If a building is destroyed, it spawns several more zombies that will quickly destroy the surrounding buildings. Maybe there's an upgrade later, but early in the campaign there are no ways to getting early warnings about approaching zombies. So missing a single red dot on the mini-map can mean a failed mission. The whole game punishes experimentation and has zero respect for the player's time. You never get the opportunity to test and learn the game's systems because every failure is held over your head and there's so much real time invested in getting back to the part that gave you trouble. And you MUST spend that time because you can't reload saves. RTS games tend to attract players that enjoy testing and interacting with complex mechanics, but doing so in this game punishes you. And single mistakes can't be recovered from by skilled gameplay. One zombie gets through, just hit retire. Or uninstall.
前面杀僵尸杀的让人兴奋,突然家里某个角落爆红了,然后退出了游戏
The dungeon crawler missions in campaign made me quit after starting the third.. i didn't know this was a part of the game and got so disappointed when being forced to play them. And don't say you don't have to.. if you want decent points to be able to fight the other missions, then you do.. the dungeons missions are the definition of tedious. It's a shame that i played more than 2 hours, now i can't refund.
