Possibly the first shooter I played when I was young. Got it on steam recently and the memories are comin back to me. I highly recommend to old fans who miss the old days and newer fans that want to see the routes of this series.

First title of legendary Call of Duty franchise. Also it belongs to first games I have played. Game uses highly enhanced Quake engine. Story is kinda generic, nothing special, only WW2 stuff. Gameplay consists from search & destroy (or grab documents) to get from point A to point B, either on foot or tank. Graphic looks very realistic for 2003, especially weapon models, which are so much detailed. Game is accompanied by orchestral soundtrack. Sound effects feel mostly real. Overall cinematic quality. Game contains three campaigns: United States, British and Russian. It takes 3-5 hours to finish it. Surprisingly, multiplayer is still working. Original legendary game. I highly recommend it.
