Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 24 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Hi, I’m Thorin — the solo developer behind Blossom, also known as Pebbledust Games.
This is a project I’ve been building on my own, inspired by the games I grew up with — the ones that didn’t constantly hold your hand. You had to experiment, pay attention, and slowly figure things out for yourself. I wanted to bring back that feeling of discovery, in a calm, more relaxing survival experience where the main goal is simple: bring a dead planet to life.
So what exactly is Blossom?

Clear the fog by increasing the pressure and form ice. Melt it into water by raising the temperature. Convert martian dust into soil, then green the planet with algae. Plant flowers and trees to generate oxygen and turn the sky blue. Grow forests and create biomes then create life by incubating insects, birds and animals.

Explore an unknown planet. Travel across Mars on foot, by rover, and through the air, reaching distant regions to find resources or to simply watch the results of your terraforming efforts. Discover abandoned stations, ancient machines, and wrecked ships. Visit orbital platforms, and piece together what happened to Earth and those who came before you.
You play as Blossom, a small but capable robot built to survive where humans cannot. Managing energy is central to gameplay: power your movement, tools, and machines to stay operational in a harsh environment. Playing as a robot changes how you interact with the world. Electricity replaces food, so careful energy management becomes key to progress.
Gather Mars’ resources, refine materials, automate using drones, build tools, machines and structures. Unlock blueprints, upgrade your technology, and construct bases that grow alongside the planet, supporting terraforming, exploration, and survival in increasingly complex ways.

Build and customize modular rovers, attach functional modules like batteries, storage, and mining lasers, and chain them into convoys. Drive across the planet, mine on the go, and create fully mobile or stationary outposts wherever exploration takes you. Your base is not tied to one place. It moves with you, enabling true planetary-scale exploration.
Sums Steam only; GOG publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

The beginning of the game is cute and fairly enjoyable, and the early/mid exploration and automation isn't bad, but the late-game mechanics abandon the early game progression and the ending itself falls flat to the point of bordering on insulting. If you want a game about terraforming, Planet Crafter has this beat at every turn.
I REALLY wanted to like this game. I loved Planet Crafter. I enjoyed Surviving Mars. I LOVE survival, crafting, exploring.... and this game shows a lot of promise. The core gameplay is pretty good. There is a sort of story there, but that is a mixed bag. The resource gathering/automation is strong. I think they spent a lot of time making sure that was solid and it really shows. I very rarely felt like I was hard grinding. Now, that said - at times it felt TOO easy. I definitely hit a point where I had gotten like 10 new blueprints and in order to move into the next phase I needed to do a bunch of build/gather/build and by the time I did THAT - I had a ton more blueprints. It's the pacing you see, if anything this is TOO easy. I died once. And it was because I got distracted with IRL and forgot to pause. I could EASILY play this game hardcore - and that is not praise. The beginning was a race to keep up with the new blueprints and building I KEPT getting. Then towards the end it was a wait until I could build
a giant gun to go read a few things???
. There is a story but honestly.... it felt kind of uninspired. I didn't care except to try to accidentally collect completions. It wasn't something I think I wanted to go out of my way for. I never felt invested in the story. There was either not enough mystery or too much and I honestly am not sure which since I stopped doing most of the reading. I feel a little bad about that, I like to uncover mysteries. But this.... I might update this review when I have a better idea of which way it went. Overall, it's a cute game. It's a good introduction of the terraforming/survival/crafting genre, but I can't recommend it GENERALLY. Play it if you think Plant Crafter looks like too much.

This game have a fun start. But when I hitting the late stage of the game I realize the testing facility spawned outside of the map boundary. It means I wasted 18 hours on a game that cannot reach to the ending. This kind of game breaking bug should not exist, NOT RECOMMEND UNTIL FIXED
Undisclosed used of generative AI everywhere. It's not clever writing, it's not intelligent design, it's just slop.
An impressive game given that it was made by one person. Hints of Astroneer and Surviving Mars, but is most similar to Planet Crafter. I liked the story better than the one from Planet Crafter, but didn't care much for how it was delivered. Terraformation is so fast that it breaks immersion; I terraformed the entire planet in 30 in-game days (40 on Brutal difficulty), watching huge trees grow in seconds without explanation as to how or why. The base-building aspect is entirely pointless; I never bothered to build a single component during any of my three playthroughs. A shame, given that alot of time and effort has clearly been put into this aspect. In Planet Crafter you need the base to survive and progress; in Blossom you don't because you are a robot who doesn't need food, drink or oxygen (or furniture). I would recommend the game for someone who wants a casual terraforming game or would like a warmup or break from more challenging games like Astroneer or Surviving Mars. If you are looking for a challenge, this game is probably not for you.
A nice, fun, and casual variant on "Planet Crafter", with a *lot* of jank, hopefully to improve in the future. This one really should be right up my alley - I love Planet Crafter, Subnautica (both), Satisfactory, Valheim, Last Caretaker et al. Blossom should fit right in. What consistently turns me off is its horrible (amateurish) UI, the permanent feeling that I'm playing a mobile game, and ubiquitious jank. At the very beginning, I got frustrated by misleading messages that I received: "Not enough power" from the printer, when in fact it required blueprints. Silly me thought "ok, so I need to beef up power". Nope. Oh, and blueprints can be stored in a storage, but they aren't individually labelled. Right-click does not consistently disconnect power lines, and it should close windows. Some ores reaquire a "T2" mining tool, and the game differentiates between "Vx" and "Tx" tools - janky! Initial goals are unclear and seem to be pushed on a stack. Items that you create with your crafting station simply disappear with little feedback and are suddenly active -- BUT when you mine ore, the mined items must be picked up with a separate mouse click. Wagons follow you - but only if you connect to the FRONT port. Jank, jank, jank. Inconsistent behavior like this is annoying, jarring. As is the unneccessary manual transfer of blueprints to the printer - why on earth is that required? And then there are the things that annoy the engineer in me, maybe simply got lost in translation: for example, a fuel generator does not, as I expected, generate fuel to be converted into energy. No, it directly creates energy. Small, but for the kind of people who like this type of games, highly annoying (my pet peeve with Planet Crafter, where this game borrows heavily from, it that Planet Crafter is (or was last time I played) completely off with many of their units). Oh, and no crafting from storage, no good inventory management and overview - too low QoL. And inventory management for storage is atrocious. That being said, I feel that Bloom does a lot things right - maybe it's just lacking polish. To me, it's the accumulation of small quirks that spoil anjoyment and give an unfinished, somewhat amateurish impression that I'm sure is unjust, it to my mind shows that the developer follows "Planet Crafter"'s great idea, and adds a few welcome wrinkles. The execution suffers, however.
Its ok, a cross between astroneer and planet crafter, much simpler. good for chilling out and listening to music while you play.
Do you like wandering around? Do you like base building games in which the base serves no practical purpose? Do you enjoy procedural generation that locks critical POIs beyond the boundaries of the playable area? Do you like not having a map? Do you like sitting around with nothing to do waiting for grass to grow? Do you like games that won't run in the background, meaning that you have to ACTUALLY SIT AND WATCH THE GRASS GROWING!? If you've answered yes to most or all of those, then you'll probably love this game!
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3793835404

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3793835223

This is a really good game. It's rewarding to see the planet changing as you progress. Once you unlock the automation side of things (mining and storage) you can focus on the bigger picture. It's not a difficult or lengthy game but it keeps me hooked for hours at a time.. I nearly cried at the end.. lol.. I'm just about to start my second run through on Brutal mode which may prove more challenging.. There's also a hardcore (permadeath) mode once you've completed the normal (survival) mode. Would love to see an expansion for this game in the future. Great work 8/10
