Blood Bowl 2: Legendary Edition (Classic)

I've played a ton of the boardgame over the years and the dice randomizer for this just feels way off. The dice rolls heavily favor the computer. Even setting this on easy, makes it feel like I'm competing in a tournament level of the game. I have won blood bowl tournaments in the boardgame, so there's absolutely no way I should be having this much trouble with computer opponents.. can't enjoy this game because instead of thinking strategy, I find myself trying to outwit the low dice outcomes results.

I cannot recommend the game because although the story campaign is enjoyable enough, the league play (kind of a campaign with a team of your own design) is just sub-par compared to first bloodbowl game. You play in the league and win/lose games, but you can't tell what difference it seems to make. The whole exercise seems pointless. This would have been such an easy thing for the designers to get right.

Solo Leagues/Endless Leagues are completely broken (for me). Constantly fails to finish matches properly and award SPP. Seems like a server-side issue, which for single-player modes is immensely dumb. Hopefully Cyanide does a better job with their next title (Ignoring the atrocity that is Blood Bowl 3). Big not recommend from me for anyone looking for a decent single-player campaign. Try Chaos Edition instead :P

As a massive fan of the BloodBowl table top game, I just had to buy this. To my disappointment, I just didn’t enjoy this as much as I enjoy the table top game.
